First Steps for FLASHING our 2023 BMW M1000RR! | M1000RR Series Part 9

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Now that we've got the Arrow full titanium header installed, we are tackling some supporting mods!
That is, the IAT relocation kit which helps in getting the M1000RR to produce more power, and the Lower velocity stack upgrade. While at it, we also save some weight by converting the intake tunnel to full carbon fiber, and off camera we completely cover our airbox with gold heat-resistant tape to prevent heat-soak.
Next we'll be tackling the flash so stay tuned!

    Absolutely phenomenal!!! I love your artistic detail to precision.I have a 2016 bmw s1000xr with 1800 miles on it . Yes I said 1800 miles . I’m 50 yes old and my hands are a little jiggly and I’m scared to death to take even the air filter out (lol) I really enjoy your videos.

    Loving it! Now I think that I need to order the epoxy, the carbon intake, and the gold tape! I already have the IAT, stacks and filter from BREN. I am probably 6 weeks behind you. I have the M1000RR but I have to wait until the 11th for my PPF installer to drive out from CA to Reno to custom install the XPEL. Then I start my 600 mi blast

    @@Motomillion It would be best if you had the precut patterns for the M1000RR ready. I would have instantly jumped on that. As it is, I am going to have my installer stay over at my place a couple of nights to do the job.

    No, the Alpha one is race fairing only, doesn’t have the tabs on each side. Made by ZMM for us. You can view it here : www.motomillion.com/collections/bmw-s1000rr-23/products/zmm-carbon-fiber-air-intake-for-bmw-m1000rr-k66-2023-2024?variant=40382940381250

    does removing the flapper from inside the R1 do any damage while riding in rain to the engine or airbox?

  • @Motomillion

    @Motomillion

    Жыл бұрын

    Water shouldn't be an issue, as long as you don't take the hose to your intake while washing. This is with or without the flappers.

    Is it important to warm up the bike?

  • @Motomillion

    @Motomillion

    Жыл бұрын

    Of course, it is probably one of the most important things to make sure your oil is up to temp to reach the viscosity levels needed, all parts are well lubricated and all materials reach the optimum temprature.
