In this video I will be attempting to start up my rx8 engine i purchased in December i dead cant believe i was able to put this car back together and start it up. thats a big milestone for me never would i think id get this far just by doing my own research
i cant wait until am able to start driving this thing again this car will be with me though everything i probably will never sale it this is my project car i wont get rid of.
but due what going on with my honda i can no longer keep modifying this car at the moment because my daily wants to give me alot of trouble did i mention its a 2018 honda accord? its taken the money i was suppose to keep putting on the mazda rx8 build but it is what it is

Love the video!!! But I believe it’s running on one rotor brotha. Check coil packs. Did you rebuild the motor?

Most rx8s engine fail cause they dont premix . Premix half a ounce per gallon n it last for ever . The motor sounds like its misfiring on a rotor.

Sounds almost like it needs some good gasoline put into it to give it the octane it needs to start right up.

Hey man did the motor end up being any good ? I’m thinking of buying a used motor in a really good condition about 40k miles idk if it would be worth it or not

Compression test that used motor before purchase, using a Rotary Compression tester is the easiest. KZread has its ways but You're looking at 100 PSI-90 PSI per face in a rotor, any other odd imbalances is a no-go. If it gives bar its 9-8 bar for good compression, lower standard and even more lower bad.

Let me clarify, 100-90 PSI per face is a good motor, 90-80 Is decent, and anything lower is failing.

Currently its not running do to the anti security system got activated so i have to bring the car to the dealership to get new fob and keys which ill do next month
