Blimey that's brought back some memories, I used to do the journey from Doncaster to Sheffield on the bus back in the early 80's to go and watch Sheffield United, this is just about the same route that I remember, I think it cost 25p each way in those days 😀

very good video and i spot black thing on ur camera i was "what the hell is that?" nowi realise it is fly ha ha lol i was so laugh. finally fly gone somewhere. it is start begin of sheffield. oh boy. anyway i enjoy that your video,
To be honest, I'd never take the bus from Sheff to Rotherham or Donny again, the frequent stopping at lights and traffic through Attercliffe/Carbrook/Meadowhall are annoying. Much quicker to get the tram, TT or train (obviously the buses do provide a vital service for intermediate stops!)
Such a pity passengers can't take their rubbish with them, judging by the upper deck floor.

It's the only one in South Yorkshire in this livery, the rest that do the X78 are more of a yellow than cream, and they are branded Mainline.

@@-M0LE to be honest, in recent years first south Yorkshire have been criticized for buses looking a bit tired, but they seem to be making improvements now
Use x 78 alot live balby work Doncaster now travel my family Rotherham alot so this bus service ideal for me get in it outside my house and there in 30 mins 40 mins trains rubbish now to travel local ok going far away
Do you tend to find buses are kept more litter free in more Southern areas than the Northern ones?
