But do they run from Delhi to Agra because that will be the route for most Westerners? Westerners don't need to ride a train just because it is new. They need a decent train to get where they are going. I am sorry, but this train is very dirty by Western standards. It is disappointing as a lot of Western tourists would need to take the train to see the Taj Mahal. They should offer newer carriages up to Western standards and charge more, Westerners will pay more if it is clean. India needs to focus on having millions to come see one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. i wish the Railways would put in a little more effort in their jobs for the good of the nation. Every foreigner i have seen cannot find their train or seat. How can it be so difficult to fix this problem? It just looks like a problem of laziness to not want to improve!! There are no proper signs at that Station to direct people where to go to catch their train. India is coming up but the Railways is still very backwards. Sure, they have new trains, but it does not take much to improve the conditions of all the trains. They all need to have a deep cleaning. The world wants to visit India but the uncleanness is putting them off. Look at how dirty the carriages are. i know the folk are so used to seeing the trains in their dirty state, that they don't know what a clean train is like. They need to look at videos of Japan, China or Europe to see what train journeys should be like! You don't need all new, just keep what you have clean!!! PLEASE someone get word to who ever is in charge to shake things up with the Indian Railways. I want India to succeed. Tourism brings in a lot of money. The world would like to see the one of the Greatest Wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. India should be doing everything possible to make it accessible for Western tourists and they be a little updated to Western standards in cleanliness! It does not need to be new. One of most favorite movies is "The Darjeeling Limited", the train in that movie was old but it was so beautiful with nice wallpaper on the walls of the carriages in beautiful pastel colors of India. It does not need to be new. The Orient Express is an old train. But it is super clean!

@@Dan-xx5jq LOL, Western standards ??.......Have you been to New York and Paris? Have you been to Naples in Italy? Did you take a ride on the New York subway? New York subways are one of the dirtiest subways occupied by homeless people. The amount of dog poop and trash that can be seen on the streets of Paris and trash in New York city is unfathomable. There are so many places in Naples (Italy) where you can see a huge pile of garbage. Subways in India are 10 times better and much more clean than New York subways. The train shown in the video is also okay from the outside. The cabin inside is very clean. So, there is nothing called Western standard. It's all your imagination.

Indian railway runs 13,000 passenger trains daily, on both long-distance and suburban routes, covering 7,325 stations across India apart from 8000 freight trains on the same track length of 128,000 km❗️ Imagine the mind boggling logistics that has to handled with an average daily passenger count of 24 million❗️ No other transport system in the world handles this complexity. Therefore a single incident results in multiple train delays. Inspite of that, Indian Railways maintains reasonably good punctuality on all long distance trunk routes. Trains make up lost time over the distances they cover‼️

Unusual ? Back then running train used to be 16-22 hours late during winters, 3 hours seems very rational and acceptable. Punctuality and Indian railway doesn't go hand in hand. If train is 3 hours late at departure station, Imagine till it reaches the destination. Overcrowded station with Iron box type of coaches with ugly ass painting on it, Indian railway truely represent a third world country like India.

No, actually if you take prepaid taxis from the booking counters outside train stations or airports in India, the fare would be exactly it should be because that fare is decided by the local governments on km basis + tax just like Uber/Ola charges (fare + tax) and not a bit extra. They cannot take any extra money from you because they are giving you online or printed fare receipt.

I guess more suitable advice would be that if you are in western parts of Indonesia then don't miss the Andaman islands because it's actually closer from there. Dude India is a massive country and lots of things not to miss on the mainland. Not saying one shouldn't visit the islands.

@@vijaysingh-xy4mb I have a different opinion. First of all ANIs will have to develop Maldives like tourism infrastructure. And secondly mass tourism shouldn't be promoted but quality tourism on those islands and by that I mean attracting tourists with high purchasing power rather than every Tom, Dick and Harry packing their bags and going to Andamans. That will actually make those islands a top quality tourist destination.
