First Shots using the Phantom 2 and Go Pro Hero
Since the purchase of our Phantom 2 around two months ago we have tried to consistently fly with it to increase our skill's. The British weather being known for it's rain has not failed to deliver, with some of the worst rain and storms in many years decreasing flying days considerably. Not letting the weather deter us we went out flying in days of respite from the rain.
We started off flying without the Camera Gimbal and Go Pro to get the hang of the flying before we decided to move on and add the extra gear. We have cut together a quick edit of some clips from our initial first month and a half of flying with the Phantom to give you an idea of the types of shots you can achieve with this product. The Video itself was shot with a Go Pro Hero 1, we decided to use an older one we had lying around until we got proficient with flying before purchasing the Hero 3. The Video clips are straight off the SD Card and have not been graded or changed in anyway, the footage was shot in East Sussex, England.

Thanks although you want a newer one lol I am just using an Old Go Pro hero 1 which is kind of ok when its very sun and there is a lot of light but the minute the light starts to go the footage looks terrible. I will be getting a Go Pro 3 at some point but I will be doing a course soon to be able to fly a large Octocopter commercially for filming so that will be awesome.
