One of the best bikes ever made, the Scott Ransom has finally emerged under the Contessa name, Scott's women's specific lineup. Bike's editor in chief, Nicole Formosa, took one for a lap at the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival.

Long travel bikes have come a long way. More suspension for less consequence is awesome!
Scott saves the best colors for the Contessa models. Are the frames really woman-specific, or just the parts spec?
Gents reviews = longer, lower, slacker. Should it have a 44, 46 or 51 degree offset, etc. Women’s reviews = You shouldn’t judge a bike purely on its numbers. Damn right and wise words, Nicole. There’s a lot to be said about that 👍
