I thought I would ride the 2024 Beta 350 RR in stock form before I started tearing it down just to build it up as I plan on riding this bike as my "main bike" this summer! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

I purchased a 23 480rr and traction control makes an unbelievable different given how bad the stock tires are

Is it on immediate throttle that you feel it or is it while you are riding at speed? Drifting the corner was the same as always..

Just purchased a 2024 500rrs. Love it. The stock tires are not very good. Debating on what to replace them with. Leaning toward the IRC M5B.

That’s the first thing I did after getting a new 350rr, installed a matching set of M5B EVO tires. I’ve done it on all my bikes. Best tire IMO, especially for loose terrain.

Can you please explain how the traction control works. I have a 2024 500rs and can't figure it out. Is it just a softening of the low end hit or does it actually cut power when the wheel spins?

I'm not a big fan of 4 strokes because I grew up riding/racing 2 strokes so I still prefer those. However the 4 strokes are good bikes and even though I'll rag on my buddies about it they give it back so it's all in fun.

I've got a '24 390 Race and really do notice the TC. It seems to soften the snappiness of the bike, but I don't think it literally controls wheelspin. It seems to make the bike roll on more smoothly.

That's interesting, is it on abrupt throttle like I was demonstrating or is it more subtle on the trails? Enjoy The Ride, Jared

@@3SeasRecreation got it fixed. We had to remap it and reset stepper motor just in cases also. Just wouldnt start up right away even after it warmed up it would take a few times before it would turn over. Fires right up now.

I remember that one time I rode a deep sand MX track and was wondering why I had no power coming out of a corner. Untill I realised that the traction control was taming down the engine. That was a big difference when I turned it off 😅 the problem with this system are the missing two wheel speed informations for the ecu. Unfortunatly these sensors are not allowed on the enduro bikes so the TC cant be as sensitiv like on a car for example.

I agree on the sensors, I'll have to try it in the sand down south and see what comes of it! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

I rode my 390RR-S in some wet conditions both Sunday and Monday. I've got dualsport'y / adventure'y tires on it at the moment, so I was really hoping the traction control setting was going to impress, But to be honest it didn't. Maybe the conditions were just too slick for the tire, but I really couldn't tell the difference.

I agree, I'm thinking our over saturated ground from the massive amounts of rain combined with my stock DOT tires didn't help the results. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
