First Responders Tribute to Fallen Spring Valley Firefighter Jared Llyod

Hundreds of Firefighters, Police, EMS, from Rockland County were joined by departments from Orange County & New Jersey for a drive-by to wish a Happy Birthday to the son of fallen Spring Valley Firefighter Jared Lloyd.
His son turned 6-year-old today. This breathtaking show of support demonstrates the bond and strength of the first responder community in times of tragedy. Over 100 hundred trucks or apparatus would be take part and it lasted for 40 minutes.
A GoFundMe page has been created for the family of Lloyd. Please donate if you can.

That little boy must have been so excited to see all of those vehicles driving by with lights and sirens. And Mom maybe felt a bit of hope in seeing them all, knowing that they have her back. Tears, yes. My thoughts and prayers to the family at this time. And I have to say that I'm impressed. Thank you to each of the participants for sharing some time for a little boy.

I used to be a volunteer fire fighter and the brotherhood and sisterhood is for real the love they have for each other. This was a big loss to to the department But most of all his family he leave behind to carry-on rest easy brother

Years ago I volunteered as an EMT in Spring Valley also FF too in Thiells N.Y.As an EMT We went to that adult home many times and faced challenges such as the very narrow elevators. We had to put our patients in a vertical position in order to use the elevator.. I don’t know the year Bader’s was built but I think the standards would not be acceptable today! This procession was for Jared’s son who turned 6 today. So sad!

Very nice I'm not surprised how many departments showed up to pay tribute to fallen brother and if this is any indication wait until the Lodd funeral firefighters from around the country are going to show up. RIP brother you deserve every bit of the respect you are about to receive.

@@JB91710 I was just asking a question. Thought you might have been there since you knew how the incident was handled and how they attacked the fire. But if you weren't there then I dont know how you can tell exactly how things went. How do you know there were no hand lines in operation when the building collapse happened. How do you know the fire condition when the first units arrived. So before you start making dumbass comments maybe you should explain the part you took in the incident. Because if you weren't there then you have no place telling them how to handle the incident there is not one fire that is the same.
