Great song! Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers were formed in 1976 & had a lot of great hits such as "Learning To Fly", "Refugee", "The Waiting", "Don't Do Me Like That", "Change Of Heart", "I Need To Know" etc. In 1989 Petty went solo & had quite a few hits such as "I Won't Back Down", "Runnin' Down A Dream", "Free Fallin'", "A Face In The Crowd" etc. He was also part of the supergroup "Travelling Willburys" in 1988.
I bet it would have been fun to be there!💜💜💜
Check out the celestial jacket that he is wearing. That jacket is iconic. Just yesterday there was a new tribute album put out by famous country artist paying tribute to Tom Petty. One of those artist is none other than Dolly Parton. She did her version of Tom Petty‘s song called Southern accents.Tom Petty’s celestial jacket is featured in Dolly’s tribute video.
Love Tom Petty with or without the Heartbreakers! Thanks for your reaction! I have a couple of suggestions for songs with the 4th of July theme. The Star Spangled Banner by Dan Vasc, Lost in American by Alice Cooper and American Woman by Lenny Kravitz or The Guess Who.
Try Southern Accent
