For your information, if you notice there's a sound of bells in the background, that's the traditional instrument of Indonesia that we called it gamelan. It has beautiful voice when you play it. You play it like glockenspiel, but it sounds like soft round bells

Hi Sabina, WI is to celebrate 🇮🇩 independance day. Alffy comes a remote village and is so talented. As a young man somehow during his high school he discovered there is a strong spirit which shape 🇮🇩. He became obsessed and looking ways to pass on the message of the founding fathers - through music and later through video. For him 🇮🇩 is where diversity merge with a strong desire to be united. Thus his video starts with a medley of different ethnic songs (in reality there are 300 different ethnies!) ...whereas in the transition, the mother holding the babies is singing a traditional ancient lullaby to her girl. The last lyric is "dadi-auw pendekare bongso = meaning: I wish you become the knight , the defender of the nation" ...Fyi Sabina, 🇮🇩 was colonized 350 years by the Dutch + 3,5 years by 🇯🇵 during WW2...during those tremendous difficulty time there were continous fighting and social unrest all over 🇮🇩. People have a huge thirst for independance, including girls and womens as relected in the lullaby song. ...Alffy's video then put the declaration of independance on Aug 17th, 1945 by our first president , Sukarno...follow by the song "Padamu Negeri" = to You My Nation wich is an oath to defend it to the end ...last but not least the dragon simbolizes the beast protecting the nation. ... I have to admit that Alffy wraps the determination 🇮🇩 independance in a so majestic and phenomenal video ! I love how hey accent changes along with the language she is singing in. It sounds so authentic. The makers of the video went to such great lengths with costume, makeup, etc. It felt like she was portraying several different real characters of different cultures. It really adds depth to the message that there are so many cultures but together as one nation like members of a family.
