The group WJSN & their concept has been in the plans since 2004, the group was only formed in 2015 & debuted February 2016 under Starship Ent ( home to SISTAR, Boyfriend, MonstaX, WJSN & Cravity )& YueHua Ent. ( home to NEXT, YHBoys, UNIQ, soloist Woodz, Everglow & Daylight ) The group has an astrology concept where every member represents a different horoscope / zodiac sign. The group also has a rotational center concept where every member can be the center, the girls defined it as the universe has no center so they want to be that center. - (Some notable events) 5 months after their debut in July 2016 it was announced that Member YeonJung who was a contestant on Produce 101 Season 1 & active member of it’s winning group IOI was later to be added to the group as their 13th member and 13th zodiac sign Ophiuchus ⛎, she would also receive the role as Main Vocalist & would be the Youngest of the Maknae line bringing the total to 3 Main Vocals & 3 Maknaes. The addition of YeonJung also solidified WJSN’s title of the largest kpop girl group after I-13 who held the title back in 2005. On August 2016 they made their first ever comeback as a full group with the song Secret, with it came the Secret Film Series where songs under this series are in a storyline. On March 2018 Chinese members MeiQi & XuanYi went on hiatus as they participate on Produce 101 China Season 1 with fellow YHGirls trainees, later on the members won 1st and 2nd place respectively, putting them in the winning group Rocket Girls 101 on a 2 years contract. On August 2018 it was announced that WJSN will be making a comeback as a 10 member group as Chinese member ChengXiao was unable to make it back due to her filming dramas and movies in China. On September 2018 WJSN made their first comeback as a 10 member group with the song Save me Save you, this song later gave them their first ever win! On June 2019 they came back with their summer special ep Boogie Up which was the song that gave them the most wins. On November 2019 WJSN came back with the song As You Wish, this song later became Korea’s New Year Anthem, every countdown since 2019 has had people listening to this song and would shoot the song up to the number 1 spot every 1st January. ( has happened every time since it’s release so am certain this year’s countdown will be the same ) On October 2020 WJSN debuted their first in group subunit Chocome ( pronounced Choco Me ) with the song Hmph! This group consists of the shortest members below 163cm namely, Soobin, Luda, Yeoreum & Dayoung ( minus Bona as she was filming dramas at the time and couldn’t participate, but everyone agrees that she would’ve been the 5th member in the subunit, unless starship decides to put her in a new subunit with members EXY, SeolA & Eunseo with a sexy concept ) ( this was written before the announcement. I don’t work for starship. ) On 20 December 2020 They Won Their First Daesang On 26 April 2021 it was announced that WJSN will be debuting their second in group subunit WJSN The Black ( or just The Black ) with members Seola, EXY, Bona & Eunseo with a more mature concept debuting on 12 May 2021 with the song Easy. - Some updates on the Chinese members - MeiQi On April 2019 she debuted as a soloist with the song, 犟 (Jiang) Within the first 20 minutes of the album's release, it sold over 1 million digital sales on 1 platform alone. On October 2020 she came back with the song, MUTE In 2022 she will be in the movie, Breaking Through as the lead role. - XuanYi ( Betty Wu ) In 2018 she was the lead role in the movie, Marna On November 2020 she debuted as a soloist under the name Betty Wu with the song, 25 In 2021 she became the lead role in the TV series, Douluo Continent It was also announced that she will be the lead role for the TV series, Sweet Teeth - ChengXiao On December 2020 she debuted as a soloist with the song, Focus-X

WJSN - English name is "Cosmic Girls" They just started producing sub-units recently, The Black is the 2nd sub-unit, Chocome is the first, with a more cutesy concept - They are a pretty strong GG and would definitely suggest checking out their recent comeback, Un-natural, as well as their last few comebacks - They have had a few changes to members since debut, as you will notice when you check out their debut, going forward MVs.

‘Secret’ is a really good song by WJSN and also their latest comeback song ‘Unnatural’ is really good too.

WJSN also has a lot of good songs, but you really have to listen to Neverland's album. It's the best girl group album ever. It's an album filled with really solid songs from beginning to end. Billboard also ranked it as the best K-pop album of the year. Also, Dream Come True's choreography is considered one of the girl group's all-time legends. (It's almost the best. The choreography maximizes the strengths of a multi-member group.) M CountDownfancam video is recommended. The rest of WJSN's song "Kiss Your Lips" is also good. I think K-pop is really good at making songs. Then, WJSN's only rapper, Exy, enters the girl group's top three. This is what most people think. Audition was interviewed as a vocalist, but he was forced to turn into a rapper when he had vocal cord nodules during his trainee life. (Lyrics and compositions are done from time to time, and almost all rap parts in the group are written and composed by Exy.) Also, what's unique about WJSN is that there are three main vocalists. By the way, Seol-A and DaYoung are also main vocalists, and they are positioned as lead vocalists. The first main vocalist was DaWon, but as YeonJung joins, YeonJung is the main vocalist, and SooBin is also the main vocalist as her voice opens.

P.S: This is a subunit for WJSN. Its their second one after WJSN Chocome (U can check their MV Hmph released in Oct 2020). They are already five years old, debuted way back in 2016. The rapper/vocalist is Exy, and she is the main songwriter in the group, having credited with 61 songs, and also written for The Boyz and Cravity. She is also the leader of WJSN, and the butt of all jokes of the girls due to her goofy actions and clumsiness. Bona is the one with the black wet hair. She is actually an established actress in Korea, having won KBS best rookie actress last year and China fans' golden eyed girl. She is the reason why they are HUUUUGE in China and Japan. Seola is the one who started off the song. She is the oldest in the entire group, she is 28 this year. She is the sexy image of WJSN, and the best to me in terms of stage presence. Eunseo is the one with silver hair, the youngest in this unit. She is noisy, loud, many female idols have a crush on her due to her masculine charm, but actually is a softie and cries often. She is also the tallest in a group, and also an actress. Their main group however, has 13 talented girls stacked with great vocals, dancers and visuals. Only 10 are left (because their Chinese members are millionaire artistes in their home country), and you can check Unnatural, Butterfly, Boogie Up, As You Wish, La La Love, Save Me Save You. Their B sides are phenomenal. Pantomime is every Ujungs fave. My personal fave would be New Me. Other recommended songs includes Yalla, Our Garden, You Got, You You You, Where You Are, Full Moon, Don't Touch, I-Yah, Rennaisance, Robot. Happy listening!!

My gotcha moments were BTS Mic Drop, GDxTaeyang Good Boy, f(x) Rum Pum Pum, and Red Velvet Bad Boy. For this group, it was 'Secret'.

I love WJSN! My favorite title tracks from them are Save Me Save You, La La Love, Secret, and Butterfly. Those songs (and their albums) are so melodic, which is my favorite thing when it comes to music. Unnatural may be more your speed though, as it's more similar to this song!

This last year I listened to WJSN for the first time, and they have shot straight up my tier list to S-Tier to join Dreamcatcher and Mamamoo. I look forward to WJSN b-sides second most (right after Dreamcatcher) now. Songs like Luckitty-cat, Hola, Badaboom, You Got, Pantomime, Oh My Summer, etc are sooo darn good. You will really really like getting into their discography. Tons of bops! Please please please do an album reaction to their latest album!!

The Black absolutely DELIVERED as a subunit!!! I would definitely love to see your journey to becoming an Ujung (WJSN fan name. Also 'The White" for fans of The Black, and Shalulu for Chocome subunits)! For title tracks, I'd recommend Dreams Come True, La La Love, and Save Me Save You for some delicious synths (all composed by Full8loom). If you like the retro stuff, you're in luck because they have quite a bit of those too! Here are some of those b-sides that might fit that category best: New Me, Luckitty Cat, You Got, Miracle, You You you, Starry Moment.

I recommend unnatural and butterly! But all of their songs are good so you should just check all of them out

I've really liked a lot of wjsn's music, but for a while I'd get them and gwsn confused. I feel like that happens a lot for me with larger groups. They had another subunit, Chocome come out last year with "Hmph!", a cute, sassy concept of a song. Someone mentioned their comeback from earlier this year "Unnatural" as well.

SN is a standard word for sonyeo, which means girls. Loona's Korea name is also with a SN prefix, Idaluisonyeo, which means Girls of the month. GWSN is Gong Won So Nyeo, which means Girls in the Park. However, the most famous is SNSD - Sonyeo ShiDae, which means Girls Generation. Hope it explains.
