"Replay" is so iconic even till today, released back in 2008. And really, SHINee helped cement the "synchronized dancing" standard for boy groups. Fun facts about the song: -Taemin made waves at the time for being the youngest idol to debut in a group. He was about 14-15. -Taemin asked for no solo lines in the song because he didn't think he was ready. Though keep in mind, before Taemin the soloist, this here was Taemin the dancing prodigy! -The girl in the song is Victoria from f(x)! So, the main vocalists are Jonghyun and Onew, Key does both vocal and rap parts, while Minho does mostly rap. Taemin is sub-vocals and main dancer. imo these are some of the most unique voices in K-pop, you can practically tell each member apart. So I'll let you complete this "rite of passage" on your own XD I think "Love Like Oxygen" was released in 2008 too? Then "Juliette" and "Ring Ding Dong" are both 2009. "Ring Ding Dong" is such an earworm that it was apparently banned in Korean schools because it would get stuck in students' heads and they couldn't write their exams...LOL

"Juliette" is one of the dozens of songs that was wrote by Jonghyun, SHINee's main vocalist. You might recognize the melody of the song because it was originally a song by the American singer Corbin Bleu called "Deal with It." When SM bought the rights to the song they kept the melody, but Jonghyun rewrote the lyrics. :D As you can see, Jonghyun was writing songs and making his mark almost from the beginning. And Minho also wrote his rap section in the song. Minho has credits on almost all of SHINee's songs because he writes all the rap parts. As you discovered, Jonghyun is known for his Michael Jackson-like vocals. That's just Jonghyun's classic high note style. Jonghyun is known for his MJ style cry and for sounding a little like Michael when he sings any of SHINee's classic R&B songs. Taemin is the one that dances like MJ, but it's Jonghyun that is the one that sounds like him. During "Juliette", Taemin was still growing into his voice, so he doesn't really have a whole lot of lines in this song, so instead they highlighted more of his dance skills. "Juliette" came out in 2009, so Taemin with the light blue pants was a year older than in "Replay" -- he was almost 16 years old here. MInho is in the pink pants with the Red Wings shirt and he is 17 years old here. Key is the one with the white pants and the green tie dye shirt and he is also 17. (Key is a lead rapper and lead vocal, so he accompanies Minho a lot. Key is fluent in English and his rap style has a more western flow.) Onew has the yellow pants and he was 19 and Jonghyun has the dark blue pants and and he had just turned 19. Fun fact: In 2011, as part of their Japanese debut, they also came out with a Japanese version of "Juliette." The glasses and masks they are wearing are crazy because they are supposed to be attending a sort of trendy version of a masquerade event like when Romeo and Juliet secretly meet each other at Juliet's family's costume masquerade ball. The SHINee boys are all supposed to be Romeo and they are searching for their Juliette. This was also part of the era where SHINee started the trend of the colored skinny jeans. SHINee are known for their "school boy fashion/student look" and everyone started wearing colored skinny jeans at this time because of SHINee. They were some of the very first Idols to change up the fashion trend from baggy hip-hop looks to form-fitting clothing that showed off their athletic bodies. They are even trendsetters when it comes to fashion. Never following trends, but always creating them in everything they do. :D It is safe to say that the original trend of colored skinny jeans in the U.S. was probably a transplant from the trend that SHINee started. A lot of foreign idols over the years have told SHINee that the fashion trends they started in Korea were adopted by them in the U.S., Canada, China, Thailand, etc. That's how influential SHINee are.

"What is he wearing?", Ain't that such a 2nd gen statement. Yikes, what SHINee used to wear... Lowkey great. Music wise, I don't think you can go wrong with any of their solo work. But for group work; Everybody, Sherlock, and view (f(x)'s 4walls is very similar to that song expected for sibling groups). Thanks for checking them out! The group themselves are hilariously chaotic.

The Noona (the older girl SHINee have a crush on that they are singing to) in the "Replay" MV is the leader of their sister group***, Victoria from F(x). This MV came out more than a year before F(X) debuted so this was Victoria even before debut. (Funny thing is, Victoria is native Chinese and she says she was still learning Korean during this time and she could barely even say SHINee.) Victoria was so perfect in this role because she is a few years older than any of the SHINee members so she fit well as the lead actress in this MV. As the song says, 'Noona neomu yeppeo .... replay, replay, replay ...." In other words they are saying "pretty older woman I really like you and I think you like me too ... every time I see you I need a replay of the moment over and over again in my head." Noona neomu yeppeo is a Korean term that essentially means "Pretty older woman" Yeppeo is a term that means beautiful that is only used by guys to describe a beautiful woman that is older than them. There really isn't a literal translation of the term so that is why the song is called "Replay" in English. But in Korean it is called "Noona neomu yeppeo." That's why if you watch SHINee on a lot of variety shows and TV programs, the older women in the show often ask SHINee to sing this song to them. *** SHINee and F(x) are both SM Entertainment groups, they debuted within a year of each other, they both are 5 member groups (Now 4 member groups ;( ) and they have similar music styles and concepts, etc. F(x) is pretty much the female version of SHINee. "Replay" is literally considered one of the best debut songs of all time for any Kpop artist because it's so timeless and it never goes out of style or sounds outdated no matter how old it gets. This song makes all the women swoon. You just witnessed baby SHINee and were already blown away, just imagine what it will be like as you go through their discography and MVs. They have 12 full-length albums (6 Korean albums and 6 Japanese albums), a multitude of mini albums, numerous OSTS, they each have solo songs and albums and there are hundreds of live performances that will absolutely leave you speechless with their talent. And it only gets more and more impressive as you follow them through their career. They have accomplished a lot in the past 12+ years and they are one of the groups that made Kpop what it is today. SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups as trendsetters. This song was actually ahead of its time when it first came out. SHINee are known for never being afraid to experiment with their style and sound in a song and for the fact that no two songs of theirs will ever be the same even on the same album. SHINee are always setting trends, never following them. As SM''s experimental boy group, nothing you hear from SHINee will ever sound the same, and, yet, somehow it will always sound like SHINee. So this shows just how talented even as teenagers SHINee were. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch their live concert performances. Fun fact: SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group. Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. I can't imagine the world if we never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today. Things would be so different. May 25, 2020 was SHINee's 12th anniversary. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet they are younger than most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than most other groups, such as EXO and BTS, etc. which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry. SHINee debuted in 2008 when Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now they are all in their late 20s and early 30s. (Onew will turn 31 in December) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry. Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) -- the one in the hat -- is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best voices in the industry. (Onew means, or sounds like, the Korean words for soft or gentle, so he was given his stage name because he has a very calm and gentle personality.) His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, etc. Jonghyun -- the one with the bandanna -- is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed over 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists, such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. He was one of the very first Idols to be known for this songwriting and composing skills. As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time. Key -- the one in green -- is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to stand out. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Minho is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out, but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc., as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. And, as you know, Taemin -- the one in yellow -- is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry, and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, including his peers. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. As you can see by their "Replay" MV, even at 14, Taemin was one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work, that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin is also one of the most popular solo artists in the industry and he is a member of the Kpop supergroup SuperM. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. you will wonder how it was even possible that you couldn't tell them apart. As a SHNee World -- what SHiNee's fans are known as -- or Shawol for short (pronounced like shy-wall), I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".

nah, these songs are just THAT good. Replay has such an emotional factor to it - they perform it all the time still and sing with the fans - there isn't that cringe factor that can come with the era. same goes for Love like Oxygen and Juliette, the latter of which I can fall in love over and over again every time I get to that bridge and going into the last chorus with the ad-libs. I hope you not only talk about Jonghyun but listen to his solo work too (he was very prolific and had a few albums!). He was such an incredible artist. I hope he'll gain new fans all the time and have more and more people that'll love him as a person and a composer, because he was a beautiful soul. I want his voice and his art to live on forever. ps: hopefully you'll get to watch their live stages too. because for SHINee, even if you don't LOVE a song when you watch an mv or listen to the studio version, I guarantee they'll improve it once you watch them perform it. there is no song that they haven't improved on on the stage.

"Replay" was a legendary debut and definitely one of my favorite debut songs. Taemin was a baby then at 14. "Ring Ding Dong" is such an iconic song, it's such an earworm that literally every time I hear it, it's stuck there for hours. They even had to ban it from being played in schools during exam times because it was so addicting. Yeah...late 2000s/early 2010s was the era of questionable hairstyles and SM Entertainment was the textbook example of those xD

The Korean version of "Love Like Oxygen" was released as the lead promotional track on SHINee's first full length album The SHINee World in August 2008. It was a sort of repackaged album after their debut single "Replay" in May 2008. Fun fact: They also released a Japanese version of "Love Like Oxygen" in 2011 as part of the group's Japanese debut. To help you identify all the members: In the MV Onew is the one wearing green, Jonghyun is in yellow, Minho is in blue, Key is in red/pink and Taemin is the one in white with the hat. Taemin had just turned 15 years old right before this MV was released. SHINee's level of professionalism and maturity was there from the very beginning -- there were only 2 or 3 months between "Replay" and "Love like Oxygen." :D It's just SHINee's style, they are constantly switching up the feel and vibe with every song you hear from them. SHINee is made up of some of the most unique voices in all of Kpop, so once you start to recognize their voices, you will never wonder who is speaking or singing ever again. Pretty much all Shawols will tell you the same thing -- we can recognize all their voices instantly no matter the situation and we don't even have to see their faces to know its them. That's how unique all of their voices are -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. One of the things SHINee are known for is their harmonies, and they have one of the best 5 part harmonies in the industry. That is one of the reasons why they are known as a top vocal group and why they are so admired by their peers. Their harmonies are unmatched. And this was baby SHINee, just imagine how good their harmonization has become now that their voices have matured. To sum up exactly what SHINee's style is: they are vocal powerhouses that create universally popular pop songs. :D When it comes to SHINee you can't expect anything except that it will be uniquely SHINee and probably one of the best songs and performances you will ever experience. Every song that SHINee has ever released is unlike any other and it won't sound or look like anything you have ever seen from them, including the songs on the same album. That's why they have such a big influence on the music industry, even from day one. SHINee's whole concept since debut is they are supposed to be SM's experimental boy group, so they are constantly making and setting trends. And songs like "Love Like Oxygen" are a good example of that. Trends SHInee has started? Let's make a list: -- They are one of the first groups to start the trend of skinny colored jeans and form-fitting outfits that showed off their athletic psychics for male idols. Before SHINee, the trend was hip-hop style with baggy clothing that was 3 times too big. (SHINee started the boyfriend/student look.) Their fashion trends have been given the name "SHINee Trend." -- They were one of the first groups to have sharp precise synchronized dance moves and to show the world that they could sing live while performing complex choreography and sound flawless. Because of SHINee, everyone upped their standard when it comes to live performances and choreography. -- They were the very first group to release a dance practice video specifically so fans could see the full dance, and they were the first to have a dance practice video become a trending video online. They are the reason why dance practice videos are a thing today. -- Jonghyun, SHINee's main vocalist, was one of the first IDOLS to be recognized as a singer/songwriter, and to produce songs for not only himself and his group, but for other artists as well. Jonghyun was highly respected within the industry for his songwriting and composing skills and he was considered one of the most prolific artists of his generation. About 40% of SHINee's songs were wrote by him, as well as all of his own solo songs and several songs for other artists, such as EXO, Taemin, IU, Lee HI, etc. -- And SHINee pretty much starts almost every trend in the music industry when it comes to the sound and style of their music. And every song they release is expected to be something that has never been seen or heard before. Not only is it expected to be something they have never done before, but they are expected to come up with a sound and style that has never been done before in the entire music industry. The industry looks to SHINee to set the trends and to show them the next direction to take. And that continues still today even after more than 12 years in the industry. -- SHINee are also often the ones to start the next dance style or trend in the Kpop industry with their choreography. -- They were one of the first groups to use a world-famous choreographer to create their dance for their "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" MV. "Sherlock" was the first time SM (or pretty much anyone in the Kpop industry) had ever used a famous choreographer, and at the time, it was the most expensive Kpop production ever.

Replay reactions always tears me up. To see new fans enjoy after the tragedy let's me know that Jonghyun's legacy and iconic voice carries on. Hope to see more SHINee reactions from you. And if you like water dancing and vocals check out SHINee's older brothers from SM TVXQ. Their video Catch Me has both. Their video Before U Go also has that late nostalgic late 90's r&b sound for sure. Also UKISS has a water dance video called Neverland. Their song Stop Girl is one of my favorites. Enjoy. 😉

Shinee is my favorite boygroup! Their vocals are out of this world, I’m pretty sure Onew still holds the record of longest held note among kpop idols (for 40 seconds something), and he wasn’t even the main vocal! And although their early choreo was good too, I can’t wait for you to see them really go at it in dancing, they were one of if not the first group to do really hard dances (I say group because Boa was already doing super hard choreo before they debuted). Also, kings of live performances, they are one of the best groups I’ve seen when it comes to performing, I’m looking forward to whatever stage was requested on patreon! About these songs, I love all of them, although I gotta say Julliette is my favorite. Also fun fact: 2 f(x) members were in these 4 music videos! Victoria was the girl in Replay, and Krystal the one in Juliette. (And Minho was the boy in SNSD’s Gee lol)

Yaaay SHINee! Iconic is the right word. I love Onew (pronounced like 'own-you') more than I can express :') you'll probably get to the solos at some point and Onew's solo Blue is GORGEOUS, you're one of the people who will be able to appreciate it in all its ballad theatrical glory ♥

SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when SHINee lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. Yes, over the years they have become better at lip syncing then they used to be, but now they have gained the reputation as the group that always sings live, so unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, SHINee will always sing live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. SHINee set the standard. That is why they are so highly respected among their peers. It is literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard all other groups strive to reach. You really should check out some of their live concert performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are also one of the best dancers in Kpop and they have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The members of EXO and the members of SHINee are all around the same age and they were all part of the same trainee classes together, and, yet, SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO, so that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends. SHINee is pronounced like Shiny -- as in shiny stars or Shiny diamonds -- because they are so magnificent that they need a double ee to show just how brilliant they shine. They SHINe(e) like the sparkling performers that they are. That is also why their symbol is a diamond. If you like their dancing, you should check out SHINee's "Replay" dance practice. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mapqktCLY8Kcabg.html. It's not an official dance practice video because dance practice videos didn't become a thing until 2010 with SHINee's "Lucifer," but it is a real dance practice video from way back to SHINee's debut days. SHINee were literally the first group to ever release a dance practice video specifically for fans to watch and they are the reason why Kpop groups produce dance practice/choreography videos today.

MY SHINY SHINEE!!!!!!! MY BOYS!!!!!! MY PRECIOUS BOYS!!!!!!!!! They are VERY special for me. They will always be. 10 years ago kpop and especially Shinee helped me with my depression and also 2 years later when my agoraphobia got so severe that for 1 year I only went outside 30 minutes each week. Thankfully now I'm better. It only acts up in specific situation and I can control it. Shinee made me happier. All my clothes were darker tones, and in the summer of 2010 I wanted to change so I bought a pair of lilac jeans and after that an orange and red one (I still have and wear them). Now i have clothes in all colors (except yellow, I don't like that color) First Shinee song i heard was ring ding dong, and I was like wtf. I was still getting used to kpop. I was like nop, not for me. A month later Lucifer came out and it was instant love. I was amazed!!!!! I listened again ring ding dong and again, instant love! I think i was already used to kpop XD so I could appreciate it. Also, our angel Jonghyun!!!!! Amazing voice. It's almost 3 years....... I couldn't listen to a Shinee song for months. I still have some troubles listening to his solos. Our angel, you did well, the boys are doing good and you are missed.

Though I said that, all 2nd groups are basically superb golden groups. SHINee really is one of the few great live performer. I think the coined word of eating CD was first used for them. We call them CD-nee as their live vocals are very stable even with a vigorous choreography. 😂 Can't wait for their comeback. It's near, I can feel it in my bones. 😄 Thank you again for the reaction! 🥰🥰🥰

How I interpret the story in SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong" is, the song is about a sort of love at first sight and thoughts of that person keep ringing through your head, so much so that you start to become obsessed with them. It's more than just protecting the girl or your love, but it's about wanting to have her all to yourself and not allowing anyone else to come between you, etc. (As the English part of the lyrics says, "Fantastic, elastic ..." because thoughts of that person are constantly bouncing around in your head.) In the story in the MV: If you notice, at one point, you see all the members dressed in white and they are standing in an all white room looking into the mirror. However, the image they see in the mirror is not their reflection, but what seems to be their alter ego or inner self because you see their mirror images with brooding expressions and they have wings. But their wings are not white like an angel who is pure and good, they are grey like angels of darkness. So, maybe this is showing how their thoughts are not a pure and innocent love, but one of passion and possession, etc. You see them in the white room with the white clothes because I see that as showing how they are hiding their true selves -- on the outside people think they look innocent and pure, but once you get to know them they have far less pure intentions. When in their black and red outfits this is more their true selves. The only explanation I can see as to why they are shown lighting the candles without even touching them is a way to make it clear that they are different then what they seem and they may have "magical powers" that can be used to attract the girl and make her theirs, etc. I interpret the butterfly they talk about in the lyrics, and the one you see them with in the MV, to represent the girl and how she is beautiful, and fragel and flits around in their life attracting them and distracting them, etc and they want to capture her and make her theirs. Beyond that, I don't really have an explanation of anything else that is happening in the MV. Most of it I interpret as just part of the aesthetic of what was the new cool think and what they were doing with MVs in 2009. The boys' hair and clothing styles and the aesthetic of the MV was supposed to give them more of a bad boy image, to sort of contrast the fact that when they debuted with "Replay" they had a boy next door image and they were given the title as the nation's younger boyfriends -- people had a pure and wholesome image of them -- so they wanted to show that as SM's experimental boy group, people should never expect them to stay the same. SHINee will forever be changing up their image to show many different sides of themselves and all different styles of music and dance. "Ring Ding Dong" was showing a new side of SHINee. This was only SHINee's second comeback after debut, so it established their role as the ever changing and evolving group that was expected to keep setting trends and coming up with new concepts, styles and sounds. Fun Fact: Minho's long hair and Jonghyun's "Lion" hairstyle in "Ring Ding Dong" is such an iconic look. But Minho always hated this hairstyle, LOL. He has never liked having long hair. He begged SM to allow him to cut his hair and it took a few weeks before they would let him do it. They made him wait until they were done promoting for this album because their hairstyles were part of the album's concept. And therefore, Minho has refused to ever grow his hair out again. ;P Also, almost all of SM's boy groups had similar hairstyles during this time period. :D Take a look at Super Junior or TVXQ in 2009. Their hair looked like this too. hehehe. This was just sort of the look for Korean entertainers back in the day. SHINee were setting tends even with their hair. As you discovered, "Ring Ding Dong," is one of SHINee's most popular songs. This is totally the look and sound that was just becoming the new it thing back then. As others may have mentioned, "Ring Ding Dong" is such an iconic song and it's so catchy that it has been said that in Korea this song is banned from being played anywhere or listened too during college entrance exam time. When it first came out students complained that the song would get stuck in their heads and they couldn't concentrate on their studies or on the test. :D This is also one of SHINee's Iconic choreographies and it is one of the dances that every rookie group in the industry, both boy groups and girl groups, are required to learn and know, and most have covered the song and dance at least once in their career even still today. If you want to hear the song without the auto tune then you need to hear them perform it live in concert. Try their live MBC music festival performance of "Ring Ding Dong" in 2016, kzread.info/dash/bejne/kaCN19Sok6_WmZs.html. You will see how SHINee has grown and why they are known as the kings of live performances. (You don't necessarily have to react to it, just check it out on your own time. :D) This song is part of the era when auto tune was brand new and it was the new cool thing that everyone was using in their new songs.SHINee was ahead of their time when this song came out and it blew people away for its sound and style, which many had never heard before. :D The Kpop industry looks to SHINee to show them what the next music style and dance will be. And SHINee are expected to always come up with something new and groundbreaking that has never been seen or heard before, not only for them, but for the industry as a whole. It is said, that everytime SHINee comes out with a new song and choreography, within 3 months you will see it being mirrored in every new comeback across the entire industry, both boy groups and girl groups. SHINee introduces a new trend and the industry takes notice and follows suit. However, after more than a decade, the members have said on TV shows and in interviews that it has started to become kind of daunting for them every time they prepare for their next comeback, because after so many years in the industry they have pretty much done it all and it's getting harder and harder to find something unique and fresh. However, they still have not let us down. They have 12 (6 Korean and 6 Japanese) full length albums, several mini albums, solo albums numerous singles, etc. and somehow they have managed to keep coming up with something different every time. It will be interesting to see what they come up with for their next comeback now that they are all back from the military. They are currently working on coming up with their new style and sound as we speak.
