Seventeen are a very LGBT friendly group many of the members have been known to wear Pride items and clothing and they very much embrace their gay fans. Vernon one of the rappers is the most outspoken activist of the group when it comes to gay rights and anti discrimination towards gays, racism, and women's issues. He also is not afraid to wear clothing that might push boundaries. Jeonghan was the very androgynous guy in the Fear MV that smeared the lipstick and Vernon is the guy in Fear you commented on his hair.

also because it's not very common in kpop, let's just take a moment to mention that Vernon has explicitly expressed his support for the lgbt when asked about it in an interview.

@@xxdreamingredxx Can literally count with one hand the number of idols who have explictly said they support the lgbt community (other than wearing clothes with rainbows and stuff, which I don't really count because it could just be their stylist dressing them in it). I'm not vernon biased, but I have so much respect for him.

I REMEMBERED WHEN HOSHI EVEN INDIRECTLY SAID "CHICKEN GAY RIGHTS" IN ONE OF THEIR VLIVE WHERE HE SAID THAT CHICKENS, MAY IT BE, WITH DIFFERENT GENDER MUST HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS. ALSO I ALWAYS NOTICE HIM WEARING HIS PRIDE HOODIES VERY OFTEN (ON VLIVES OR DANCE PRACTICES) IN THE HOME RUN DANCE PRACTICE HE WORE IT AGAIN. SVT IS OPEN TO THESE KIND OF THINGS AND I'M LIVING WITH IT. ಥ‿ಥ

Seventeen are known as the “self-producing” group in Korea bc they have been writing, composing, producing & choreographing their songs since pre debut. They actually helped popularize self producing bc at the time of their debut it wasn’t all that common. Woozi (ur little king), is in 16th place for the most copyrights as an idol. Vernon (one of the deep voice rappers in Home) is the youngest idol I believe to have the most copyrights as an idol. But it’s Woozi mostly who works on the songs and composing and producing. Hoshi (blonde in the chorus of Fear) has a hand in making their choreography along with Dino (first turtle neck guy in Home). The8 (the one you called handsome in Home with the orange sweater) also helps out with song writing , and choreography. All Seventeen members have worked on at least one song in all of their albums. They all have credits on some songs. They are also known as 3rd generation dance kings in Korea. They have won multiple awards for dance and performances for years. They r highly known in Korea for their synchronization cuz holy shit, having 13 guys being synchronized is difficult af. I recommend 3 guides: A Subpar Guide to Seventeen by Soft Jun. (this one says some info and is pretty funny but a little out dated) “Who is Seventeen”: a guide to Seventeen by Svthinapina. ( this one goes a little in depth on their past and is split into 3 parts). A guide to seventeen: the movie by SVTguide (this one is the longest out of the 3 bc it’s 2 hours hence “the movie”. There’s so many things to know about Seventeen but u can watch it on ur own if u want.)

The small one is the main producer of the group who create most of their songs, Woozi 😆 Seventeen is a self - producing idol.. they make their own song, rap part and choreography. There are 13 members in the group, but they are separated into 3 units (vocal, rap, & performance, with their own respective leaders) so I think you'll be able to remember them easily later. Thank you for the reaction, you are amazing~

If you are looking for a guide video, I highly suggest the "[WHO IS SEVENTEEN?] Series" created by SVTHINAPIA. Its 3 separate videos discussing how they got started, the individual members, and finally their career path. The "Subpar guide to Seventeen" video is fine but its outdated and for me it does not convey how the members really treat each other as family. Also, if you are watching more of their MVs I suggest to watch it chronologically ( I know its a lot to ask for but I think you will appreciate their progression on becoming one of the best Groups) Either way I am excited on your journey to getting to know these boys. MV List: - Adore U - Mansae - Pretty u (Choreography) - Very Nice - Boom Boom

Since you know them better by now here's a fun inside joke: Hoshi likes to imitate Wonwoo's parts as a joke and exaggerates how low he sings so since Wonwoo sings the same part as Woozi in Home but deeper, Hoshi jokingly asked everyone to sing the fanchant deeper for Wonwoo's part and it just became A Thing we do hahahahaha here's the official fanchant guide (they do this for most of the title songs, don't be fooled, Home is one of the easiest ones. We've had to rap forwards and backward and the latest one we even have to sing properly hahahaha) kzread.info/dash/bejne/X6GTtMermc-2YdI.html

Hi, I just found your channel and I loved your reaction, you showed a great sensitivity and good taste, so I immediately subscribed. I hope to follow you in your journey through Seventeen. About a guide: the "Subpar guide to Seventeen" is good enough and funny but outdated. SVTHINAPIA recently made a new guide in three parts called "Who Is Seventeen" and it's very interesting. The blond guy in "Don't Wanna Cry" with the great voice is the same one you pointed out in "Fear". In "Home" he had dark blue hair. His name Is Seungkwan. Him and DK, the other main vocalist of Seventeen, are among the best voices of kpop panorama and beyond. I really would love to watch Seventeen dance practices with you, perhaps It could be a good idea to make a video with both the M/V and the dance practice, since in some M/Vs the choreo is almost nonexistent. Also, Carats (fandom name) love longer videos! Can I suggest to react to their last Japanese single, "Falling Flower"? It's so beautiful and the choreography is... well, they are Seventeen! Another very interesting group, wonderful voices and a more mature style, is Mamamoo. Four girls tryng to break some stereotypes in a closed society such as South Korea. Try their last song "Hip" or their cover "Delilah" to begin with. Hope to receive soon a notification from your channel!

Have you already watched Mamamoo and Seventeen covering each other's songs? Both groups have such an unique vibe and they really own the songs . Seventeen covered "Decalcomanie" and "Egotistic" and Mamamoo covered "Adore you" and "Very Nice". They also have a stage performance together but in this moment I can't remember which songs they performed, even if it was great! In my previous comment I forgot to say that the small and cute guy is actually the music genius behind Seventeen. He writes, compose and produces the majority of their songs.

I love that you pick up Seungkwan so consistently. Definitely not the norm from reactors (unless they are vocalists themselves) as they tend to focus on the visual or who they believe is the prettiest/most attractive. Let me just note- Seungkwan is gorgeous (like seriously has such a unique visual), people be missing out lol. He has been my bias since I became a Carat in 2016 and is basically the spokesperson (or salesperson lol) of SVT and is one of the two main vocals (you were right). He works incredibly hard in promoting his group in variety shows and is never afraid to take the lead/be the icebreaker in interviews or shows. He is hardworking, not afraid to show his emotions, wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to his family and his group and is genuinely caring and loyal to all the guys. I’ll just mention that he can also be sassy af and kind of bratty sometimes (but the Aries in me appreciates the duality-no ones perfect 😅😂) I genuinely love his personality over all.

If you love some gender bending, check out their older songs starting from Adore U, Mansae and Pretty U. Those three contained a very pretty longhaired Jeonghan who was the one that was saturated in white in Fear. Also check out their vocal, hiphop and performance unit. Both have their own songs. For Vocal I'd recommend 20, Habit and Don't Listen. For Performance, Highlight and Lilili Yabbay are my faves. And for Hiphop, Un Haeng Il Chi and Trauma. Also they have Japanese releases like Happy Ending, Call Call Call and the latest one called Fallin Flower. I recommend that one a lot if you love aesthetically gorgeous vids and choreo coz damn.

I think you are definitely going to Slip into the diamond life because these guys are really amazing. They are so involved in the musical process and in everything they want to express that their musical evolution is really a pleasure. You will enjoy each one of their songs, I assure you. They don't have a bad song. They are talented, BEAUTIFUL, and also their personalities are hilarious 😂. Really, they have unmatched charisma and energy both on and off the stage. Their sync is the product of years of training and a lot of teamwork, they are a real family. I would recommend all their MV and dance practice because they really are amazing (Fallin flower and Call call call I love them more) and also the live performances are at another level . I read that in other comments they left you information of the sub units so I only recommend you to watch the video of svthinapia "who is seventeen?". Thank you for reacting to SEVENTEEN. Seventeen is a versatile group, they have a wide range of music style as a group and as units. If you want ballads you can listen to Vocal Unit's songs, if more dancing there's Performance Unit's songs, and if more hard rap there's HipHop Unit's songs (although their hard core songs are unreleased, but you can find their live performances on yt, *live performances are better). But even as a group they have a number of different genres. Their side B's are my favorites and it's as good as their title tracks. But most of all, they're a self producing group, they come up with their own content (song writing, composing, choreography, youtube content, and just recently, filming) of course with the guidance and help of professionals. ☺️ Hope to see more of SEVENTEEN reactions in the future.

I think it would also be really cool to go back to their debut and go forward because you can see how amazing and inventive their choreographies were from the start, Adore U has my favorite dance practice ever, and you can see their growth and the different styles they've tried out over the years. But honestly you can't go wrong with any recommendation I love all of their music so much, Woozi is a genius and went from "oh who's this little guy" to my ultimate bias lol I also decided to try getting into them after I became an orbit because I wasn't intimidated by the size of the group anymore and it was the best decision of my life lol

Seventeen has been through a lot since pre debute. Their company is known to be one of the worst companies in K-pop (but not the worst). Pledis controls when their groups will make a comeback and concepts they’ll do without the members knowing first. S.coups (their leader) went to every meeting, still does, to know what’s happening with the group in the future. Pledis other groups have vanished into thin air and nobody knows why when they had respectable fandoms wanting comebacks. They have this predebute show (I forgot the name of it) but granted if you watch funny moments of these guys you’ll see moments outta it. The process was long and hard for the boys and to symbolize they were the final lineup of the group they all got rings... But the CEO decided he would remove the rings until they proved themselves, (kinda glad Hoshi sat in the CEO’s chair). Also a fan said to Scoups she wants to come to Pledis something along those lines, and Scoups said Don’t come. Luckily now BigHit owns a big share on Pledis and will watch over them, Pledis has been treating the boys well (go figure they’re saving your company). Also BTS and Seventeen are really good friends with one another... (Sorry this was long)

When you said oh he is tiny how tall is he? And i answered automatically “not much.” Lmao he is the shortest kpop idol in the whole industry! They self produce and also choreograph. They also design their own merch and direct their mv’s! A very very self made group. When they debuted their company was almost bankrupt so the company told them to make their own songs and choreo if they wanted to debut. So they did. They didn’t even had their own in ears so they used their headphones on the stages. They support LGBT+ a lot. Like one member was seen reading a book about a lesbian couple, one wears gucci’s lgbt+ edition clothes, they interact with their fans who have pride flag along them a lot and they write most of their songs without gender specifying! Most of the time they don’t use any pronouns! They are an amazing group to love. And btw they are on crack so just know what you are getting into. They are super funny and because they have 13 members most of the variety programs cannot invite them so they made their own shows 😂

The top 2 is "Thanks" and "Fallin Flower" from Seventeen. But literally all of their dance practices are absolutely amazing, mainly in formations and transitions. Very creative and a lot of times very theatrical. The fact that they make all their music and have a hand on choreographing it, allows them to truly show themselves and the feelings of the songs perfectly through dancing

I highly recommend any of their dance practices. That is how I got into SEVENTEEN 😊 I heard Don't Wanna Cry and watched the dance practice and then I was hooked. I watched all their dance practices before I watched any music videos lol. They were my first introduction to kpop. 😊 If you also love dancing and choreo I recommend watching Dino's Danceology videos, he is incredible. Oohh I also recommend their song Flower (Dino choreographed that).

Thanks for your video! This if my first video of yours and I'm excited to see more! I think if you like the showcase of their vocals, 20 and Don't Listen in Secret are some older ones that are lower energy but unique! (sorry I just double checked and I'm behind the times ahah I don't want to recommend something you already saw!)

Woah, I think I really really like you! I'll have a marathon of your SVT reactions now :) It's fascinating how you were able to identify Seungkwan in all the videos. Then the way you call Woozi "Little King", it's just so cute. And of course, Jeonghan was able to catch your attention.

Ok i dont know u will read or not but i just really excited for ur seventeen journey so i want to help u 😂 so.. For guide i think u have watch A SUBPAR GUIDE TO SEVENTEEN (I know just one guide is not enough so u can watch other guide or maybe watch their variety show too and their funny moment bcs these boys is one of the funnies group ever 😂) For dance practice.. Yashh i swear they hv high quality choreo :) and not only make their own choreo .. they even win the best choreo for 3 years and they are also known as king of synchronization not without a reason .. Just watch it all i think u will never regret it 😂 For MV i think next pls react to teir last japan cb FALLIN FLOWER, GETTING CLOSER, THANKS, HIT, HAPPG ENDING For vocals..maybe some people don't really mention their vocals because they are fixated with their choreo ... but believe me they do have good and strong vocals and each member has a different and unique voice color and yes they are one if the best among some vocalists in k-pop. maybe you can see SEVENTEEN BEST VOCAL by HVCBAE (i swear their vocals need more appreciation) And for the member u ask.. The blonde guy with strong vocals is SEUNGKWAN (yes he is main vocal with DK), the rappers with deep voice that u pointing is MINGYU and VERNON? But all rap line in svt ( WONWOO and SCOUPS too) can rap with low or high pitch so.. Yeah. And the blonde guy with lipstick? is JEONGHAN Yash im waiting for ur svt's journey bcs I think you will fall in love with SEVENTEEN 😂 They are truly one of the talented groups in kpop. Their music is always consistently good. they are also known as self producing idols in kpop (make their own song and choreo .. all the songs and dances u watch from them its their work with some choreographers and producers in pledis of course .. so pls check out more svt 😂👍) then also when you realize they always bring something different in each of their comeback. So don't be surprised if sometimes you hear a bit of rap parts ... they just adapt to the song and some rap lines sometimes become singers like at HOME and DONT WANNA CRY 😂 Sorry for the long comment :v
