I'm 39, so not so old but Fleetwood Mac has been my favorite for as long as I can remember. Nobody could ever sing like Stevie Nicks, no matter hard they tried... Until now. I'm blown away!!!

This was done in her college dorm room in ONE TAKE.....even her mother got on youtube and tiktok and said....yes, one take. just goofing around. This kid is so talented!!!!! Id BUY this song from her. Listen while waiting for a train or in traffic or just chilling in the hot tub. Im 54 years old and grew up with Fleetwood Mac and dont get me wrong, I LOVE me some Stevie Nicks, but I LOVE THIS VERSION SO MUCH

Exactly right :) I saw that too, and many of us point that out on these types of videos.

Obviously a tremendous voice but her ‘stage-presence’ and flirting with the camera is incredible. Just a NC girl

It’s not that she sounds exactly like Stevie Nicks, but that her voice is as effortlessly unique as Stevie’s. She could be in a Fleetwood Mac cover band and I would pay as much to listen to Lanie Gardner as Stevie Nicks herself.

Lanie is a goddess..she did this in 1 take in her dorm room..the best cover ever in history of any song..ever..period!

It depends on how specific you want to be about labels. Technically they can easily be labeled math rock or progressive metal but progressive metal is a very wide term which can include math rock technically. Really no one will say this but they are modern day avant-garde metal as the fall under the term which means "art that is innovatory, introducing or exploring new forms or subject matter" because they use influences from all genres and make metal/rock from rap and pop influences (Tim said himself the entire Muse album is specifically influenced by those genres.) Right now they are the first of their unique sound so until more bands sound like them they kind of float around general genres. Sorry for the novel lol.

Pretending that she recorded that sitting on her bed in her intreated bedroom with this microphone? Sorry but i dont buy it. What we ear is NOT what we see. The audio was made previously in a real studio with great gears and this video is lipsyncing on it. Its obvious! Now dont get me wrong. She is a great singer, mind blowind beautiful and adorable! She has a fantastic voice. But this video is not the audio session that we are actually listening to. The Blue Yeti (The microphone) do NOT sound like this.

I’m gonna say she mimed that due to her turning her head away on several occasions with no change in sound. Also nice job on the auto tune. On saying that she sounds good and the production job on the sound was great. Noice.
