the storyline of enough is unfortunately something that happens far too often here in korea. families get into debt or something of the sort and think the only way out is suicide and to prevent the debt being passed on to their children and have them face the problem, they think it’s better to take their children with them when they commit suicide so the entire family dies. it’s really heartbreaking

I'm glad you enjoyed them!! Everything they put out, even if it is solo stuff, is just beautiful and they don't get enough credit for it, I hope they get more popular soon because they deserve it. And their new mini album is sooo good, album of the year already. The member who's voice you like (the one with the longish hair) is called I'll, he's the front man. The others are Hyunsang (the other vocalist), Jinho (cellist) and Youngso (guitar). They all have solo stuff, especially I'll and Hyunsang, which you should check out as well. Ooh yay, I've been starting to get into them too recently, their music is so gorgeous! Fun fact: the member who's vocals you love, I'll (No Jeonghun), is the younger brother of actor/singer No Minwoo from the band The Midnight Romance and Minwoo was the man who inspired Kanghyun to learn guitar after he saw him act in a musical drama Rock Rock Rock. Btw, Hoppipolla, ONEWE and LUCY are currently alternating weeks appearing on Young K's radio show Kiss the Radio every Thursday (performance clips as well as the full but unsubbed episodes are uploaded to KBS Kool FM) and they going to be covering each other. They picked songs from a hat, both LUCY and Hoppipolla are covering ONEWE and we'll find out who ONEWE are covering when they are on tonight *(Edit: ONEWE will cover Hoppipolla's Enough).* I don't think Hoppipola said which song they got by LUCY picked Reminisce About All.

@@jojo.joanna Yeah and as an update ONEWE are covering Hoppipolla's Enough... I just know I am going to cry :'( Not sure when they'll do them but I think Young K told LUCY anytime this year (might mean the season for the radio show) and I'm guessing it'll be on the show since they haven't said otherwise. Gonna be really interesting since not only do they have instruments to add that the others don't: -> LUCY doesn't have someone to play piano for Reminisce About All (presuming they stick to playing their main instruments) -> Hoppipolla also don't have a bassist or drummer (meaning Reminisce About All would have been the only ONEWE song they wouldn't have to change much, I still want that cover/collab though with the cello in the song played live) -> ONEWE don't have a cellist (expecting Kanghyun to make me cry with his guitar instead) Even without all that I know they'd all make really unique covers but the different instruments will really push them to change it up more.

Im into kpop for 12 years and i just found them last year and hoppipolla is my first kband that i love 😭 i regret it so much i should've knew them earlier, they deserve all the attention 🥺❣

I’m so happy you decided to check them out they are phenomenal imo. the full album from today is really so gorgeous you should check that out when you can. This is another band I recommend checking out their covers because they are MIND BLOWING especially their superband performances just beyond words.

I felt how you feel rn. They also gave me roller-coaster feelings when I listen to them sing. Hoppipolla is the best when giving heartbreaking songs.

"Enough" reminds me of a Radwimps song, which is a good thing. I could see it on the soundtrack for either Your Name or Weathering With You.

You should react to some of their covers! They have some absolutely amazing covers they have released. Their cover of creep would have to be my favorite, their cover of I'm so tired, and another song that I can't remember the name of are absolutely incredible as well.

It made me so happy to see you react to them! I never hear people mention them, but they are so good! I ran into their performances from superband and it was so hard waiting for them to officially debut when I realized the show wasn't even finished. Always love classical string instruments in bands, they can give a song extra melancholy or extra whimsy. And yes, I'll's voice is amazing and one of my faves in kpop. So glad you liked them!

I love I'll's vocal and his unusual , 'trembling 'vibrato thing going on , it's endearing and so emotive ! He's my favourite too!

I just listened to them for the first time yesterday and am in love with their sound. As soon as I saw they had a cellist, I was in. I love bands that incorporate classical stringed instruments. A K-band (The Rose) is one of the best concerts I've ever been to. They were simply amazing, and I'm hoping after their enlistments they can get free of that crap company and be able to do music together again and be happy.

Oh yes, I noticed I'll's (that's the stage name *without the 's* of the guy that you said has husky voice, he's my bias XD) voice too, when I heard 'Enough' for the first time. He's one of my favorite vocalists now.

Hoppipolla is an absolutely genius band, each member can play at least two instruments and their voices are gorgeous. Although I just found out this band, I’m already felt in love with them and can’t wait for their new album!! Hopefully soon I can fly back to Korean and be in their concert when everything gets better! Stay safe!!

Hoppipolla is so good! You checked my favorite songs of them thank you! One band which definitely need to be on the channel one day is "Jannabi". The voice of the singer is one of the most unique i heard. I adore his voice. Pleaaase, check them out. "For Lovers who hesitate" "On an autumn thought" or the recent solo song of the singer together with Simon Dominic and Code Kunst called "For the gone". Jannabi is really Indie. The singer was recently on begin again with other amazing artists. They did a beautiful OST called "Take my hand" from Romance is a bonus book as well.
