Amy lee just recently lost another loved and is in the process of writing another song maybe its done I really don't know . when music touches your heart its real music and stirs emotion. Music at its finest. Arkansas got it right with this band. I can't wait till I hear her new song.

You gotta check out “Everybodys Fool” by Evanescence. Amys voice, the riffs, melody are brilliant. And the song truly captures what society/social media is like today

Check out Amy Lee with Seether singing Broken.. Her vocals on that track are on another level in my opinion

People. Amy did not write this song, and she did not write it for her sister. Ben Moody wrote this song about the death of his grandfather. The song describes being haunted by the presence of a spirit after they are already gone from this earth. In the video, notice Amy’s body never makes contact with the ground. She is the ghost. Amy contributed to the composition of the song with the piano and melody, but the words and the story are Ben’s.

Amy only helped writing the bridge. It was mainly Ben who wrote the song. But Amy’s unique beautiful voice really gave life to this song.

"Fallen" was the best album of that year... This song was one of two Evanescence songs on the "Daredevil" movie soundtrack - which was full of great songs! - in the film it was where Elektra buried her father...... There are a few versions of this song with and without full band....... Interesting how much Ben Moody influenced the sound on the "Fallen" album - check out songs by his next band "We Are The Fallen" especially "Sleep Well My Angel" and "Bury Me Alive".... tell me if the singer (Carly Smithson) isn't like Amy!? and as good!

No those song are not about her sister. Its Hello and Like You are written about her sister. Going Under is about a break up. Ben wrote Tourniquet. Ben and Amy wrote this song.

I always felt that this song, 'My Immortal' has a deeper meaning than just lost love and breaking up. I get the vibe from the lyrics and video of losing a lover to death. To me that thought brings another level of sadness to the song.

This song holds a place in our families heart ... my Wife would play this for her mom as she suffered through Parkinson's disease and passed away from complications. It's hard to listen to now but it still brings back memories of those last times together.

I got to see her live last year. I was working at a local college as part of the food/catering. We opened up a big event center and she was the first concert there. I worked the event and Amy was right in front of me doing sound checks and shit. Absolutely breathtaking 😍😍😍

Gibby, I'm guessing the reason you don't remember the band coming in at the end is because the original version of this song was just the piano. The band version wasn't released until later but in the beginning, the piano version was the only one that was available and was the one the radio played the most.
