This is a beautiful song!

This song was written by Robin about their younger brother Andy Gibb and the relationship and break up with actress Victoria Principle. It broke Andy's heart but he understood it was his doing. Andy had a fantastic solo career. He also hosted a show called Solid Gold. His first three songs hit number one. He moved to the west coast for the show and started doing cocaine. He went into treatments but they failed. She said me or the drugs. She ended up walking away. He was able to get clean and stay clean for a year. In the beginning of 1988 the Bee Gees announced that Andy would be joining the Bee Gees as a permanent member but sadly he passed away on March 10th, five days after his 30th birthday. He had Myocarditis and his heart couldn't heal because of the damage the drug use had caused. Andy and Barry were 12 years apart but Andy was his mini me. They even had identical birthmarks. The Bee Gees are the greatest group of all time. I loved this one it's one of my favorites. They released songs from the 1960's-2000s and had hits in every decade. They wrote songs for themselves and other stars. They wrote over 1000 songs. They were true LEGENDS.

Barry - Soft vocal about a lost love. Robin - Powerful anguish at someone gone forever. Great contrast. Don't forget brother Maurice either, a smooth silky voice as well. These guys wrote over 1000 songs. You have a long way to go to hear the variety they produced over 50+ years from children to the end of their career as a group.

What a great song! As an American, I can't help but get choked up, seeing the Twin Towers standing proudly as well as the Statue of Liberty. 🇺🇸✌️RIP Robin, Maurice and Andy. Gone but not forgotten!
