If you know "Tomboy" it is likely because of Lisa. The song was not getting much traction and Destiny Rogers was actually thinking about giving up as a singer. Then Lisa used it for this video and it blew up. Destiny has credited Lisa for saving her career. A mutual friend arranged for them to speak on the phone, and they have become friends.

Oh wow! I can't remember where I originally heard it but it's such a great song! I'm shocked it didn't get traction from the beginning but I'm so glad Lisa helped her out

@@David-wm5lc It seems like whenever they're both in L.A. they manage to get together. IIRC correctly, the most recent thing was a listening party for Destiny's new album. In some clips, Lisa can even be heard cheering and praising the songs in the background (off camera).

I remember watching these. My favorite was #2 & #5 Fun Fact. #5 is a song called Tomboy by Destiny Rogers (if Im not mistaken). Destiny Rogers was just a few weeks from being dropped by her record label and going completely broke. Lisa Danced to her song , her social media blew up and her record label extended her contract. Lisa gave her new life. Destiny Rogers has repeatedly thanked Lisa in person and on social media.
