I give my son’s piggies vitamin C tablets…(like cookies).. and I give them a variety of veggies…. I’m like their fairy Grammy…lol.. .. when my son works I also give them hay…. I have lots of health problems and I walk like a little old lady…. they wheek and wheek if they hear me walking up or down the steps… doesn’t matter if it’s 2 am… they go nuts..I feel bad because they live in my son’s bedroom - so my son and his girlfriend get woken up.. I will say that I’ve been eating healthier since we took in the 2 male guinea pigs 6 mos ago..

For leaky water bottles I came up with the idea of getting those feeder cups that attaches to the cage and put it directly under to catch the drips. It works perfectly and It's also slightly cuter (if that's possible) that they put their two front feet on edge of bowl to drink🐹💦💜

I got guinea pigs for my 6 y/o daughter to have a pet after she didn't stop talking about our poor hamster who passed of old age - was not expecting for these 2 boys to grow on ME as much as they have!!! It's been about 7 months, their personalities are out SO much, they said they were brothers but omg they are so different. This video makes me want to go drop $400 and spoil them rotten! 🤣🧡

If you want to try another laundry detergent, Tru Earth makes fragrance free detergent strips. They're good for the environment and safe for babies so I would assume they're also guinea pig safe. They also don't come in plastic !!

That’s what I was gonna say! Popcorning galore! I had an 8 ft table, so I did a DIY C&C cage using the instructions from Scotty’s Animals’ channel, and made it take up most of the table’s length. So I ended up with a 2 x 6 DIY C&C cage. I can barely sew, but I followed You Tube directions again and made the cage liners and pee pads by sewing U Haul blanket material in between two layers of fleece.my two boys usually popcorn the most when I am changing out the fleece and have removed everything but the bottom pad. With all that space they go nuts! So adorable!

My herd loves those Timothy Hay tunnels but I add a pee pad so it's not ruined with their first potty break while munching. :)

I rescue guinea pigs! We love the mazuri guinea pig pellets (offered in 25lb bag and smaller). 27$ for the 25lbs found at tractor supply and small bags almost anywhere. Great for their health with balanced vit c. Just a recommendation!

Since you want to have the best for your pigs I find that if you have picky piggies you should mix straight pellets and mix in a veggie like spinach along with their normal veggie mix because all that added stuff with the pellets is processed and bad for the pigs in the long run

I suggest getting a fleece forage matt. You can sprinkle the forage over it and they have to dig around to get it. My piggies go crazy anytime i take out the matt

You should a make over of the hole room

THOSE HANGING CHEWS FROM AMAZON ARE MY GUINEAPIGS FAV(mostly the one with the fiddle stiks tho)

I'm new to your channel. You're so awesome with your furry family members, we had 13 family members at one point. I used to adopt guinea's and other small pets but it got to the point where I was getting very annoyed at the vets here, they had no clue about my small pets and I ended up losing several due to their lack of knowledge and it wasn't just the one veterinary practice, it was several, there was only one that had a guinea specialist and they were too far for me to keep going to as none of us drive, so because seeing them in so much distress and eventually having to be put to sleep was causing my mental health to become worse, I stopped adopting, I didn't think it was fair on my small animals. One practice even banned me from going there because of how vocal I was in regards to their lack of care/knowledge in regards to the guinea's. They just didn't seem to care. I adore animals, I just have a dog now. We were never advised about vitamin c, a lot of what I found out was via the internet. Sorry to vent on here but it still upsets me now, some people see small pets as "disposable" they aren't, they all have their own unique personalities and in our home, they are part of the family, not just pets.

My vet said guinea pig don’t really need pellets and I just buy Oxbow garden select and some like it more than others but it’s Ok

So random but i would love to see a washer room renovations video i cant lie.....!

I love this mod 1960s pillarbox red dress it’s giving me life. But….the straw houses at the end….they will smell HORRENDOUS within a day. I bought one for my piglets, they loved it, so to show their appreciation they peed in it and the sea grass + pee smell is so grim. Would recommend using a liner inside!

Hey! I love your channel! Just a comment maybe try using a different tunnel because of the dye in the fiddle stick tunnels. Kay tee isn’t the best brand either and they make a lot of small cages for guinea pigs that smart guinea pig owners would never buy, but New Guinea pig owners who haven’t done their research end up keeping their piggies in a way too small cage.

(this is not hate just knowledge that I have) the brand Kaytee is actually a good brand to start with.. they do have things like say some toys that do have harmful dyes in them yes I do agree with that.... I do not agree with the cages part... They do have small cages yes but on every box they come in it clearly states that this should not be a permanent home.... and the cages they sell are very much so bigger compared to the glass habitats the piggies are in at pet stores... but other than that.. they are a good brand for new piggie owners... their hay is always green.. because yes... I do buy their hay sometimes along with many of their toys... Please do not take this like hate because I do not intend for it to be like that its just something to know...

Now I don't feel nuts for mixing kibble to make piggies happy. My piggies are a tough crowd some will eat any hay others only want the expensive selection. Some love their vitamin C dose a couple act like I'm trying to kill them. I could chalk it to genetics and experience but all 6 are related and have been together all their lives. My 6 little weirdos!

I got my guinea pig Oreo last January, and I might be getting another guinea pig soon(if I can convince my parents).

I actually had piggies but they unfortunately passed away but selective naturals is a good brand but when it gets wet it can be quite off putting for the pigs. Love this vid 🙂

If your bottles are leaking try cleaning out the end, their may be something that is blocking the ball bearing from sealing properly

Hey! So I noticed in one of your guinea pig cages you have led lights up. I recommend that you don’t have those in your piggies cage, because it messes with they’re eyes! I really recommend fairy lights. :) this video was such a good idea! All the stuff you bought was ADORABLE! I recently ordered my female guinea pig Felicia, a bunch of stuff!

@@GuineaPigJungle I have it in my food mixture and found sunflower seeds and was like: wait where does this come from? And the Nature was the only pellets that had some other stuff in it so it had to come from there. My piggies don't even eat the seeds but if yours do you have to watch if they don't eat too much of it (luckily I have a hamster I can give the seeds to)

I thought guinea pigs shouldn't have seeds because they can choke on them.
