Wow, my hands were sweating with that runout after the bolt. Easy ground for you, I know,, but it looked like the hands and feet, especially the feet, were sparse. Nicely done!

Gear is much more likely to pop when it's placed horizontally. Please place your gear in the direction of fall.

Why no belay device? I'd consider an ATC pretty much mandatory for climbing.

I had accidentally forgotten it in the ground. It’s always good to be able to get yourself out of tricky situations! The munter is a nice way out of that situation.

Unfortunately not until summer or maybe even next winter. The ice here is pretty much gone for the year!

I’ve got some alpine ice on the list for this summer, so hopefully that happens. Hopefully the rock videos keep you preoccupied until then!

Not so sure it was really run out as much as you just ran out of pro. Lol. Nice lead just the same. I did notice what looked like a lot of small stopper placements.

How exactly did you get into this and where do you find places to climb?

How is this rated R? Great crack system to bolts to another crack system?....

😂 I don’t come up with the ratings. It didn’t feel that bad to me. Secure climbing but definitely not much gear at the top when it slabs out. Maybe more of a PG-13 at the top but it’s all somewhat subjective anyhow.
