I can’t say it enough Imogen, you are absolutely precious .

I was my mum and dads first baby, dad worked away a lot and so it was me, my mum and the dogs 24/7. We also didn’t have any immediate family nearby to help look after me either and I genuinely think it contributed hugely to me developing separation anxiety when I started school. From reception until I left year 2 I would cry hysterically every morning when my mum dropped me off at school. I eventually just sucked it up and got used to it after being given all the stickers from my teachers 😂 I just think it’s something to bear in mind like you say Renaelia won’t be bothered when she’s older and will want to be with her friends, she might do but what if she isn’t? I still struggle mildly with it now if my partner was to ever leave without saying bye I get so anxious and i’m 27… every parent and every baby is different 100% and you can only do what feels right for you at that moment in time, I just wanted to share my experience and feelings ❤ xx

Don't be scared to try again , it could just be situational that she didn't settle. She may settle fine next time :)

I can relate. I am a mum of 3 girls and I never want them to stay away from me, I don't mind a few hours but that's enough I like them to be in their own beds at home I know they are safe. It's so special the bond a mother has with her children. They are just your whole world once you have them. Love watching your videos. ❤

Ok so regardless of if we have done the same or not separate or not you need to rock with what your kid needs her showing us the difficult bits makes it real meaning, I don’t feel alone when my baby is difficult or I have a hard moment makes it normal and for that I’m grateful to you Imogen! ❤❤❤❤

Aww Imogen, if you don’t want to leave her then don’t. Don’t worry about whats going to happen when you go in hospital, everything will be all ok in the end. I know how you feel about leaving your babies especially at night, I’m the same! I just like them at home with us causing beautiful chaos! Sending hugs x

My daughter is 3/4 this year and hasn't spent the night away from me, she isn't ready she doesn't like it she gets really upset 😢 💔 so I haven't made her.. she's spent days away from me with grandparents and stuff but she's got upset after few hours so she's come home. Each to their own ❤️ looks like you had a nice time together! Love you all lots so proud of you and everything you do xxx

My sons are nearly 8 and 4 and they’ve never been apart from us for a night. Now they’re old enough for sleepovers with friends and they refuse. We wanted a night away for our tenth wedding anniversary and they both got so upset that we ended up doing a weekend away at a theme park with the kids. There will be plenty of years that they don’t want to be at home 😂. You do whatever feels right for you x

My sons dad and I broke up when he was 1 and I was the exact same when he went away and he was also upset but honestly, the more it happens the easier it gets. Could you try your mum or dad having her over night at your house? Then the only change is mummy and daddy? My sons nearly 4 now and the only place he will stay and settle is mine and his dads but, he will sleep if I am not here🤍

You both r such good parents u do everything to bring joy in your little ones life . When Renaelia has her baby sister in her life she will b soo happy . I do not have a sister and I would have done anything to have a sister in my life.
