if you care about opportunities being taken from women, why not focus on women being skipped over for promotions because “she’ll just have kids & go on pregnancy leave so why bother”? I'm fairly certain the mass majority of heterosexual people aren't closeted gays, and the general concensus is that people are legitimately upset that a dude got plastic surgery and stole a female beauty pageant against real women. It's only in news circuits, college campuses and dense liberal cities that most people don't find this to be disturbing, indulging in fantasy, or at the very least, just plain irritating. And sure, call me whatever phobe you want, I really dont care in the slightest, I'm just going to tell the objective truth, and that's that he won a women's beauty pageant because people are virtue signaling during the month of June.

I think she's going to be a great Miss Maryland USA. I love diversity and her Cambodian roots. Being transgender and competing, I can be on both sides, like good for her but I feel for the other contestants who were born female. I have an issue with married women competing and the title is MISS, not Mrs. At 31, I think she's around a good cut-off age for Miss USA, however I wish the range would go back to 18-28 or if you must, up to 30. The new Miss Indiana USA 2024 is 33 and a mother of 3 and I don't think mothers should compete. 33 is getting to old to be in Miss pageants and having 3 kids would make being a titleholder difficult and what if her child(ren) become ill and need her? Or what if she becomes pregnant? That's why that leaked video of the MUO head said they can join the pageant but they won't win. I'd like the rules to go back to what they were before.

I disagree w you about the age limit. If someone’s above 28 but still looks good enough to beat the competitors, I don’t see why not let her compete. If your goal is to stop older women from competing, I don’t think an age limit is necessary bc the judges won’t pick a woman with many signs of aging anyway, whether she’s 25 but wrecked her skin with sun/cigarettes or she’s 45 and just looks her age. So anyone who is “old,” or “looks old,” will get filtered out at local pageants.

If you love diversity, why not send an actual Cambodian woman? So many to choose from. Trans Women can only speak of their unique experience of being trans. They have no clue what it is like to grow up as a female and all the unique biological experiences and expectations that come with being a woman.
