@@TheMINIac in UK it's only £2000 more than the S engine. That's only £25 per month more. The reduced fuel economy and extra power isn't benefiting of my Mum though so we didn't go for it and stuck to S engine instead.

They look sharp. I'm getting one, February 2025!😀

In Balance Mode, the sun shade slides automatically to close, and the driver seat will start the massage feature as well.

I tried this on my tea drive. Very nice feature.

I sat in one at a MINI show. It was great. But, if I had to choose one of the MINIs in Baron's showroom, I would take either the Chili Red F54 or the Chili Red U25.

Drove one today and played with the systems. I didn’t see a large tach though the center speedometer was very reminiscent of the classics and even first and second gen cars. It also has a big digital at the top for easy viewing along with the HUD.

The mode/centre instrument display with the tachometer is GoKart Mode.

@@nantastikest it looks like go kart mode had tach on the left, similar to how it’s setup on the f60. Unless you can further customize the mode and make the entire centre a tach. I read that balance mode may be the mode that closes the sunroof to dim things down

@@dealman3312 You are correct; in balance mode the lights dim, the driver seat massage is engaged and the sunroof/moonroof cover is closed. The tachometer is seen only in Go Kart Mode, and it appears on the Head Up Screen as well. I am learning as we go. The MINI arrived before we've gone to. the Ride and Drive Training.

I just took a photo of GoKart Mode but I am not able to upload it here.

Looks good in black, kinda like the blue interior but not with the tan mixed in. Can't wait to be able to drive one and see your review of driving one. Wife ordered a blue one with black interior and packaged will come with JCW sport seats that were very comfy.

The petrol blue fake leather seats look fabulous. I definitely prefer this countryman to the previous models.

Wish everyone liked it. Not everyone does.

We've paid the extra for this engine but in the Sport (JCW looking) trim level to give us the adaptive suspension and the paddle shifts.

I'm curious if the rear seats slide or not.

The seats slide on all but the electric model (UK models) as an owner of one. confirmed page 110 of mini user hand book.

@@TheMINIac There are Coop S Hardtops that have arrived at the Port in the US, and there are a ton waiting at the Port in the UK waiting to be shipped.

I look not too bad basically like land defenders and but technology wise basically almost same version of Tesla

Looks good overall .. really SAD they eliminated the floor shifter 😢

2:43 does the passenger also have buttons to lock/unlock the car? That's weird!

I do not like that speed information system now inside that multimedia screen, like as a driver I must turn my head to right/ left just to see how fast I goes. I know that hud could be useful but still, that's not my liking. That is why I dislike Tesla cause they also make the same mistake...

Head up display has the speedometer in it. Also the speed is so large, you don’t have to turn your head and look.

I love Mini, but the new design path their are going down with this Countyman isn't my favorite.

It's not as customizable nor premium as F60. I would much rather prefer to drive F60.

Drive it first. You haven’t seen some of the factory accessories yet. I have. And aftermarket has to catch up. Feels pretty premium. Just simpler lines.

I can also report after looking over the car, the build quality is exceptional compared to the F60. They build the U25 in the same plant as the X1 and X2 so the quality is incredible.

@TheMINIac I didn't feel that way. First of all, dash, door trim, everything feels cheap. I just can't take the fact that it is a cheap polyester texture material all over the car. No physical buttons and switches. There is no tachometer at the front. Are they trying to follow Tesla because Tesla isn't known for convenience. Can't customize exterior as much as F60. There is no option to change bumper color, exterior light, interior roof liner, etc. The only things good about this version are the backseat and trunk size. It doesn't even look like a mini anymore. All distinct elements disappeared in and out. Why would anyone buy this over a BMW X1? It is no longer unique

Scrappy HUD...I have the same HUD on my Mazda CX 3....totally worthless

You would rather have a $4000 windshield to replace? Those coated windshields with the HUD protected onto it cost thousands of dollars to replace and with the aerodynamics of the MINI, it can easily happen.
