Its cool that actually works. In onward it (at least it used to) would just kind of crumple your body in a heap of you tried to prone.

The monster mode is definitely my favorite. Back in my halo days, infection and juggernaut were my favorite modes and that's what it reminds me of.

That gunstock is nice, I love how you can easily remove and attach the controllers back to reload and such.

​@CasandChary great video as always, how were you able to attach the knuckle straps to the controller while on the stock? Just got same stock and it fits my pro controllers perfect but need those knuckle straps to make it whole lol

I recommend using your sling as a 2-point sling and not a single point sling as you are doing in this video. You'll find that it will be way more stable this way as long as you adjust your sling properly. You can see the forward sling mount just behind your forward controller. I also recommend rotating that forward sling mount 90 degrees so that it is on your left-hand side and not vertical.

Looks great, thanks for showing the game. I'll probably pass for now as I'm not much into multiplayer and honestly I'm behind in what I'm playing now and I have a few other games still on my mental list to buy myself for the holidays. But very happy with what's coming to the Quest 3.

Are the ProtubeVR controller cups compatible with Quest 3 controllers? I have a set used with Quest 2

Looks like Pavlov will be one of the first massive well-rounded FPS in VR. Consistent with console and desktop in terms of game modes. Let's see how this one turns out!!

The gamemode is Infection not the Hide so the monsters being visible are intentional for the Infection gamemode

Logitech headphones that were made for Quest 2. Wouldn't recommend them for Q3 tho, the cable is too short. Mine has a magnet for my microphone, that's why I was using it.

Random Video Suggestion Cas - so as a Sim Racer, I feel like the Quest 3 could finally be the right (BUDGET) headset for me - given I SIMPLY can't afford the mega expensive options of $1,000-$1,500 US dollars. But there is one big deal-breaking flaw at the moment. And that is the UNDER? 2 hour battery life, apparently reported by multiple VR Channels. So could/would you consider a dedicated video Cas - if you ever come across a solution to keeping the Quest 3 Headset charged for longer that say 3-4 hours at a time specifically for PC-VR Sim use with a PC Cable? EG:- While I was watching this actual video of yours, an advert popped up for the BLUETTI Power Charger that is actually probably meant for caravan use to power appliances I'm guessing?. So could something like that actually be used to "slow down" the dramatic power drain of the Quest 3, simply due to it's much higher clarity & quality, compared to the previous generation Quest 2?

This game is a must have. Even if you don't like the core modes or base gameplay, there's so many good mods on PC that I'm sure will make their way to Quest. Pavlov Shack also looks and runs great on the Quest 3 and that's before the visual upgrades.

ProTube has magnetic controller cups for the Rift S as an option with their MagTube gunstock. I am still using the first version of the Rift, but with 4 wall mounted sensors.

I own both of those and trust me, they are overrated. Because of the big battery, recoil kick, as well as both the low and high vibration motors, they are heavy and honestly annoying. Go with the regular MagTube and you'll thank me later.

The game is great and a good buy but its dissapointing to see no Bhaptics and forcetube support especially since protube are joint sponsors?

Is this better than onward yall think?

Hmm I can't say that. They're different, I feel like Onward has a steeper learning curve as you actually need to learn how to work as a team there.

Definitely different experiences. If you like counter strike, I would say Pavlov is a good VR mirror of cs. Onward is more milsimmy, slower and less arcadey. To me, Pavlov is more fun. I haven't been on onward for awhile so maybe it's different now, but the modding scene for Pavlov definitely also helps put it ahead imo.

Nothing comes anywhere near as good and immersive as the first Firewall Zero Hour on the psvr one, they have completely ruined it now with the new version on psvr2 I had the headset for 2 weeks then returned it for refund really didn't like it now I have the quest 3 🤔 still can't make my mind up on it to be honest, still can't beat psvr1 for usability, I think the sharper the image the more motion sickness it causes.

Pavlov is a great game

Standard online problems for smaller games. Hardcore bade will crush you, cheaters with little anti cheat, small player base and toxic kids. Often good however often terrible.

We're definetly going to have to wash your mouth out after this video 😂

I own the same Gunstock you are using and I must say, that I prefer playing without it. It's just too cumbersome to switch between stock and free hands.

@@CasandChary I hate to be "that guy" but I do believe he is technically correct. The main difference between "Pavlov" and "Pavlov Shack" is that the "Shack" version was made specifically for the Quest headsets to be a wireless version and therefore is a dumbed-down version meaning things like lower resolution textures to keep the frame rate up. Personally, I call them both Pavlov, but technically there is a difference and it has pissed off the PC version community because while "Shack" was being developed and eventually released plus all the updates it needed, the PC community rarely saw any updates. Then, development began on the PlayStation version and once again the PC community was forgotten about.
