This game looks amazing. One day I would like to see a racing game where you can choose what region of the country you want to start out in, and you are only allowed to race the cars that are found in that region, with the tracks located in that region. You have to start at the lowest division, which is usually a sport compact style division and work your way up to what ever division you want to reach. Would also like to see some of the big racing series and santions in it too. Like the USMTS, World of Outlaws, UMP, ASCS, POWRi, USRA, IMCA, Wassota, NASCAR Whelen, etc. It would be a massive game, but I think I would be awesome. I would have to start in the Midwest since I'm familiar with our divisions.

Big Ant Studios wanted to make a dirt racing game years ago, but people didn't join on board enough to fund it to happen. It's good that people are into dirt racing big time now, but seeing these just reskinned versions of NASCAR Heat is pretty lame.

One of the coolest things I noticed was the AI intelligence. When you looped it in practice in the legends car, the AI actually stopped on the track rather than just ram your door like in other games I've played

You always do a quality job with your first looks, gameplay settings and feel. Thanks for the insight into this one.

Honestly, I hope Monster Gaming does what iRacing did, and put a microphone to the exhaust of each car they have in the game and replicate that for each car. Just a suggestion to them. Beyond the sound, it looks a fun, and great racing game!

I have to rectify and say that I have the game in the computer version and the sounds of the vehicles are quite good at least from the outside camera. The least good thing was when I started to compete in the league with less powerful vehicles that to obtain good results you have to use the easy level because I realized that although my lines on the circuits and the configuration of my vehicle were correct, the opponents they pass me at incredible speed and with unusual lines. Nothing can be perfect.

You can 100% run the top in this game. You might give up some ground mid corner but the run you get on the straight is noticeable

I really hope there is no dlc's that contain road courses this time around. Just skip those and go to other tracks or cars/series. Although with the Legends and SS cars having 5 speeds makes me wonder if that is what is planned for the future. Game looks like it will be fun, i will be getting it tomorrow morning.

Man i play nascar heat 4 alot and i wasn't a big fan of the dirt model series but for some reason this game looks super fun.

That's awesome tony is giving props to the big blocks in this game them cars are monsters in real life

I think maybe there could be two or three settings for a track that make a certain line better than the others. Most likely having the bottom being the fastest way around at the beginning of the night, then switching to a setting where the middle then the top is faster by making the inside line easier to spin your wheels. That should at least pacify the complainers.

This looks pretty damn fun! Definitely gonna check it out. Like others have mentioned the engine sounds really are not good, but if the gameplay is good enough I can look past that

No top grove in this game or the sprint car game is really holding the game back. There needs to be multiple groves for racing. Having the bottom line be the only fast way around makes the game much less fun. Jeff even says "I wanna get down to the bottom as soon as I can, at the top we are sitting ducks". That needs to change.

@@brandonpatton1554 I'll disagree, I know my way around a racecar and racing games. I've played every sprint car game that's been made. From WoO 2002 (which I still have and play) to 410 Sprints on iracing, and this is the first time I haven't been able to be just as fast running either the top or the bottom. Arrowwood, Kenyon country and circle lake all have a decent high line, and Knoxville too, that add on is amazing IMO and is a perfect example of a car being fast both on the bottom and at the fence. The top isn't impossible, but you are at a huge disadvantage on starts/restarts while on the outside and also when trying to pass on the outside. I respect your opinion and welcome the response but I just don't see the game the way you do.

Feathering the throttle Is just part of dirt racing helps the car actually turn through the corners i learned that on iracing

I luv those modified race cars & anything with Smoke definitely going to get he was my all time favorite motorsport driver he could drive everything.

One question i have before i even touch the game is if there are multiple race lines on the track. Like we should be able to run the outside off the track and still be competitive.

Does anybody remember Saturday Night Speedway? I don’t have a desktop so no iracing for me but SNS still does it for me. All kinds of adjustments, tear offs,.. has there been a Late Model game made that’s just as cool and I’ve just not seen it?

Are there only dirt tracks or are there pavement ones as well?

If you drive in the cockpit like helmet cam you should have to use “tear offs” like they do in real dirt racing bc of the gunk getting on your lens’.

Jeff you should tell them to talk to Tim Bennett the creator of DirtTrackin for sound for the game! Also you drive like my dad does 😂😂😂😂 you are driving the mod too square into the corner so you slide up the track in the middle but you get a good drive out of the corner. Try to trail brake the last quarter of the straightaway it should help set your car up for the corner and help you arc in to the corner

The game looks great and I think if you stop sliding you can make better lap times

About the track list: · There's a clear Martinsville replica (Willow Creek is in Virginia) · Old Mill is probably just Dixie Speedway (same length, shape and state) · Mesa View is shaped exactly like Phoenix but with a 4/10th length · I don't like there's no horse racetrack-style oval · Some Nazareth-but-shorter-and-on-dirt would've been cool

None of the tracks carried over from the Sprint car game...? I've got the Sprint car game. It's definitely one of the best. Little improvements they could do. And I'm sure they will come out. With a version 2 of the Sprint car game & this one. Even this one is one of the best I've ever seen. Without Tony Stewart , I don't think. Either game would of happened....I dunno

I am pretty impressed by this game so far. I wish the sounds were better and the visual imputs from the wheels where better, they aren't all that smooth when using a wheel and pedals. Tires look a little herky-jerky, compaired to your inputs.
