The Ford GT looks amazing with an extra 6 inches. Must be so exhilarating on the track. They need to add DRS to the wing though.

I get the feeling the horsepower rating is for buyer bragging rights, because how many people are capable of handling such a beast. And speaking of handling, the IMSA GT3 cars only have about a third of that horsepower but can corner on rails Too bad the interview didn't include the suspension bits, because lateral acceleration is just as important as straight line speed. I guess suspension geometry doesn't sell cars, but horsepower does.

I agree. I don’t think I’d enjoy it boosted at all, probably would prefer the NA RY45 engine. Less vehicle weight plus the sound is probably intoxicating with a great 8-1 header.

Silly, look at the cheesy c8 and its gawky looks.

As a track car won't be able to use 1400hp. Alot will be wasted. Car looks great. About 800hp would be just right I think

You know the modern Gen GT has a track variant right, one with a factory warranty. This is stupid when you can just buy a new one
