I just wanna point out, since commenters be commenters loll, that this is my first ever survival game. I sucked at the beginning, and this is my raw unedited footage. As of right now I am Max level with 2 self sustained bases and a floater base and am decked out. I've recorded 40 episodes at this point and, yea it took some getting used to, but if you let me cook I'll show u some good stuff loll. Also up until like episode 20 I had accidentally set enemy pal damage to x4 and my player damage to 0.5 in episode 2, so I get one shotted quite a bit and things get rough until I set it back to x1 for both LOL. That said I still clutch some wins before that happens lol

I love Pokémon and Digimon, the communities are great in their own right but it is awesome to see how a indie studio just combined three genres together to amazing success. Pokémon especially needs to step up as a franchise, they have putting so much stress on their developers just to pump out a Re skin of the last game

@@sly_cat NGL they should just do what pal world is doing but with digimon, remove the guns for thematic reasons obviously. We've see digimon world do a create-a-town. Pal world has shown a very legit way of doing it. Digimon is no stranger to having digimon starve or depressed, they can use a simaler sanity system. All and all, digimon and pokemon are two franchises that should have done this first but one was too busy trying to be lore accurate or make money with remakes (digimon) and the other has never needed to change because it always works (pokemon)

This was kinda rough to watch at first, but I love seeing people fairly new to survival craft type games learn. Getting the axe instead of the pickaxe first, and proceeding to use the axe on all the stone objects instead of the trees. It reminded me of the first time I played Conan Exiles. Looking forward to seeing your journey and starting my own in a few days.

Ah, I remember the first time I played Conan. Just getting to that little watering hole was a struggle. Then when my friends and I finally managed to make a base, we could barely get up the hill without getting mauled by a pack of hyenas and spent over an hour trying to get our precious 15 iron ore back home. XD Good times!

first 10 were just with the less than stellar audio.

Giving you a like whether I finish the video or not simply due to the fact that you're pretty much single handedly carrying the monster taming genre on your own back and if it wasn't for you, I doubt a lot of people would know about the wider world of monster taming games beyond Pokemon.

Also you can use the axe but using the pick axe lets you mine faster and is more efficient while axe is great for wood and damage starting off. Oh that’s amazing the Pala help you jump other pals XD

I have been waiting on this game for years. I am so excited to play it this upcoming weekend. Found out about coromon through you and it was an absolute banger.

Just for future references, the one thing that you usually run out of early on in survival games is weight. It determines how much you can carry.

Holy crap. Wasn't expecting that many options for the world. Very much like Ark, as you said. I'm excited as hell.

Ahh, this looks so fun, and I am going to abuse the heck out of...the Custom difficulty settings! I plan to actually take care as best I can of any Pals I keep around for an extended period of time. Sadly, I can't get around having to sacrifice many Pals, as doing so to power up an existing one with souls will be necessary as a part of making them grow stronger. Friday can't get here soon enough! I wish I could have been allowed to pre-purchase and pre-download it to be ready to play, Minute One. 😅

Whats interesting is i found your channel due to this game you mentioned last year. Alot of people were first shitting on the game and I said this is Pokémon meets ark meets breath of the wild meets Sons of the Forrest.

I will say knowing this is your first survival game and that you probably already figured this out but the weight stat refers to how much weight you can carry in survival games. Unlike with games like Pokémon and the like instead of your character holding a specific amount of items each item has its own weight and your character’s weight stat determines how much of that item you can hold before you’re unable to move. The closer you are to max capacity the slower you will move

this game is AMAZING my only slight criticism (and hope they add is) is i wish we had more control of the pals attacks for example there be an auto mode(its current system) where they can attack how they want(how it is now) and a manual mode where you can control the specific special abilities at will(without mounting it) it would give it a sort of dynamic moving bewean your attacks and theirs also make it stop attacking if a enemy pal is in the red zone to give more of an opening weather u wanna capture it or not but overall i look forward to playing it in the 19th

So I waited a few days to start watching these videos so I could play the game myself and get a solid feel for the game. Right away, Ed and I made the exact same mistakes. We both kept pressing the wrong buttons. I've wasted about 5 Pal Spheres so far by hitting R1 instead of Triangle (Y on XB) to cycle through my weapons. Lol
