Can't wait to see what you have in store for this one. I didn't know that the 924/944's were a combo meal of vw cars/parts.
Thanks for video. I just bought one, hope its easy to work on and reliable. They look awesome
We have a 1987 924s that our father bought brand new. Been garage kept its whole life. Has around 60k miles.
Just put in a Perfect KW3 setup! Done!
Yes sir bags are gonna be sick on the 924. I wish it was going to be done by Riverside but it'll be cool the see the 700 and whatever else you bring to the event.
On the back of my swing axle bug I shaved the splines off my torsion bars. That way the spring plates have structure instead of just being supported by the outside bushings at the spring plates cap

I actually thought about doing something like that, that’s a great idea! And a good remedy for the spring plate not having anything inside of it for support.

The spring plates and in turn the rear suspension free floats very easy
I always forget how small the 700 is until I see you get in it. 😂 It’s such an awesome car. Love the 924 also. And yeah, most of the cars up here in Michigan don’t last either. Rust, rust, rust. My Indy Fiero project is a good example of that.
They were all galvanized in bith sides
I can’t wait for you to start the cabover
I’m excited to see it bagged!
What year is the 924S? Nice car. I have an '84 944na, from Pennsylvania, so it had rust, most of which I've fixed. The 700 is sick!
Don't even have to be from the New England area to really know rot unfortunately, my 84 E30 and 89 CRX were both Southern/VA cars and the E30 had rust on all panels and the CRX had bad rot on the rockers
Don't butcher it, and yes their are coil over kits for it
bags!! just because it would be a nice fab project
Just picked up an 88 924s been sitting for 15+ years not a nice as yours but no rust either, will follow your build, going to ruin mine the best i can.
Watching this vid, waiting to be picked as the winner 👀
Wow I like your e-brake on the BMW or was that an anchor? What's the date for Riverside and where can I find so information on it?

It’s totally the anchor 😂 Riverside is April 15th right here in Chattanooga! Check out @riversidechattanooga on instagram. They even have an app!
Combine those Auto Unions. Put that interior into the 1960. Someone will still buy the rest of the “lot” as it sits. That interior inside of the patina, pan swapped car would kill! Just my thoughts…
coils
Airbags? I don’t get it.
Smaller tail
"PORSCHA" "PORSCHA" "PORSCHA"
Bags? Bro... don't
Por-sha
You know nothing about Porsches, starting in 1977 all steel panels were galvanized on both sides

They will still rust even with the galvanized metal, galvanization isnt the end all be all

@Gabe Johnson we have a 944 that has been driven every wi ter, the only body rust is where it had a minor hit and in the process the galvanized was damaged Was at the factory in the spri g if 73 where a 71 911 was all galvanized no paint driven every day and no rust Porsche is not an American car company, they build quality automobiles not shifty cars
