As a brazilian we grow up hearing that a successful person can travel to the rival resort whenever they want, but in recent years this saying has been changing to "a successful person can travel to Universal whenever they want" Congrats on what you guys are doing. I can't wait to re-visit this awesome resort!

@@fifthrider I don’t recall anything that Disney has done in recent times that was that simple. Their recent rethemes have all cost millions of dollars and either fundamentally changed the attraction or changed out important mechanics. Splash Mountains old dated hydraulic systems became new electric ones in the refurb. Ellen’s universe of energy was completely gutted and had a completely new building built alongside it

I know it’s really little kid focused but this actually looks really cool. I know my younger self would have had so much on the shrek playground

I’m hoping that characters from The Bad Guys would appear for meet and greets for this area

It will feel weird not having How To Train Your Dragon represented in this land, but it also makes sense considering how it will have its own area at Epic Universe.

Coming in October! Can't wait to see how this looks since last time i was here, you couldn't see much beyond those construction walls. I love Universal so much, really great to see them finally update the KidsZone. Can't wait for HHN this year too (begging for house announcements lol) Universal Studios Orlando is the best!!

I noticed that the three mascots of DreamWorks had one thing in common: one of their movies had been directed by Mike Mitchell

makes sense when you think about it. alot of younger people grew up with dreamworks stuff, and universal films, arguably more than disney especially in recent years. Disney did the same thing back in the day when they realized their media was heavily consumed. built up a huge theme park empire off the back of their existing media... it worked then, and its working for Universal now.

That sucks. Madagascar was my first DreamWorks movie and their recent movies are not really that interesting to me. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was an exception.

I barely remember anything from Disney, but I do know that Universal has another play area with animatronics/moving figures. The one in Suess Landing. I also appreciate animatronics being in play areas

Really surprised Dreamworks land wasn’t put in Epic Universe. Would’ve made more sense than just having how to train a dragon.
