I saw Mori’s concert here in Las Vegas, I cried the moment she came on stage, can’t believe she is singing in front of me; must watch her live, bought her VIP ticket where u get to meet her backstage, she is more beautiful in person and she was so nice.

Here is a fun fact you'll be amazed about this particular performance of Morissette's Rise Up on the WISH 107 5 BUS. This performance was published on You Tube on Nov. 20, 2017. In just 4 short months to the date, it already garnered 14 Million views on You Tube. You were informed correctly, Morissette produced more views than the original artist's ( Andra Day ) version. You Tube took it off the air on March 21, 2018.

it's to do with copywright payments, covers don't have to pay until they reach 10 million views and wish didn't want to pay so it got taken down and reuploaded to get around that

I was not impressed by that or I've been spoiled by Charice who has done it better than anyone else. Other than that, Mori is great at everything else.

IYes, another vocal coach mentioned that her version was deleted because it surpasses popularity of the original version. You should listen to her version of " Memory" and " Defying gravity " it shows another side of how great a singer she is.

@@eceoswehg.5671 do we know this for a fact or merely a speculation? from what i understand, the artist who wants to do a cover of the original must pay a certain amount to the original artist based on the number of copies the cover is expected to reach in sales, or in this case the number of views. If the sales exceed the upfront payment, the one who does the cover must pay royalties again to the original artist, or else the video can be taken down if requested by the original owner having the rights to do so. let me know if this is not correct.

For those who cannot get enough of Morissette, it's called addiction. There is an AA (Amonic Anonymous) 12-step program to help you with your addiction. I finished the program yesterday but guess what. I already have relapse so I'm here again.

I don't know if the original singer really asked the video of Morissette to be removed or KZread removed it due to standard copyright protocols. What I do know is the fact right before the time Morissette's Rise Up was taken down, it was getting more hits and likes than the official video. Also, lots of people were saying they like her cover more than the original. For the longest time, videos of Morissette's Rise Up were exclusively being targeted for deletion even as countless covers of the same song by other artists remain untouched and available. So weird. Another thing I'm sure of is that, Morissette's cover got many people curious about the original and viewed it, adding countless views to the said video. You might have noticed that the video you reacted doesn't have a lot of views. That's because Morissette fans are restraining themselves from watching the video to avoid it getting noticed and targeted for deletion too. Avid fans like me just watch it repeatedly on reaction channels to protect the remaining videos of Morissette's cover so that it would always remain available to reactors like you. Anyway, I read somewhere finally commented about Morissette's cover and complimented it.
