"One Last Time" is one of my favorite SNSD songs of all-time too! This album is such a nice mix of beautiful emotional songs and classis SNSD upbeat songs.

Oh this album has so much! Holiday Night actually reminded me of their first album, the 'Girls Generation' album especially with tracks like Only One, It's You, and Light Up The Sky and I do quite remember seeing sones share the same sentiment back then. Plus there's like 4 fan songs in this album and that just made it extra special. Honestly if All Night was released now I'm pretty sure it'll be a hit. With all the retro/disco concepts in kpop right now All Night still stays as one of the best out there. I personally think Hyoyeon shined on this album, she got 2 songs where she got to sing the chorus, got rap verses, and lines that showcased her lower registers! I'm quite satisfied with that. With that said, all of the members really shined as well despite the line distribution. Sunny got to use her real voice, Yoona singing actual phrases instead of just a few words, Sooyoung and Yuri got prominent parts that wasn't just simple melodic lines, and TTS came through with their vocals! An S-tier album I must say.

Totally agree with you. That's why I really want to buy this Album, but all the stock already sold out. I hope SM would restock this album.

I disagree, I think Hyo shined more in Forever1 album

Sunny and Yoona backing in One Last Time will always be my favorite.

SNSD, the girl group that grew up together and became women. If you watched Soshi Tamtam this year you already saw episode with Tiffany and Sunny at cafe. They talked about leaving each other and three members going to other companies. Especially Tiffany going to US and the uncertainty of separating but knowing they would get together again. I love the song Girls are Back and Love is Bitter but best ballad One Last Time. This album did not disappoint! Ty as always. If you want to cover concerts, Live at Tokyo Dome is my favorite. Great Escape followed by Animal and Hoot. Whole concert is great.

Many fans thought that Holiday Night was SNSD's last album since 3 of the remaining SNSD members didn't renew their contracts and with the lyrics of 'One Last Time' + 'Light Up The Sky' 🥲. Good thing the fans keep asking for their comeback and SNSD were forced to commit a comeback "promise" hence Forever1 happened. 😋

I'm definitely glad it wasn't their last album! I probably wouldn't have taken this deep-dive if they didn't announce a comeback.

maybe you can follow the path like SirAustin...? Concert reaction? I just watched their first concert in Seoul and would say it's iconic and great beginner for all fans. As they were just starting...they did covers of other artist like Janet Jackson or Britney Spears, etc.

This is something I would love to do, I just need to figure out how to approach it. I had surgery on my back not too long ago and it still hasn't fully healed, so sitting down for extended periods of time is painful. I may be able to approach it in 30 minute sessions, though.

@@CericcReacts or could have your setup to a TV + reclining chair setup...to make life easier. I think other KZreadr did it like 30 minute format as well like you said. Anyways hope your back gets better.

Fun Fact: In the Holiday Night Photobook their is a picture of SNSD with SISTAR's Bora in it. It makes fans laugh on how did SM miss that. 🤣 And yea their isint much to be said about Holiday Night era. While the Album itself peaked on #1 on Billboard and other World Albums Charts, and it won Bonsangs (Year End Awards), the Promotion itself was a mess. SM gave them a short window of time to promote, and it was disorganized. Fans were concerned that SM knew already that Tiffany/Sooyoung/Seohyun were not staying, and no longer cared. This was coupled with Media reporting rumors that indeed those 3 were not coming back, despite no official word. Yuri also got injured, and they cut the already short promotion time abruptly. And lastly, their Holiday Night Fanmeeting was not broadcasted, but Fans who recorded some of it claimed that near the end, all SNSD members started crying, Yoona was bawling, and Taeyeon who doesent openly cry much, was also bawling on stage. It was heartbreaking to watch. I think everyone knew at that point. Fans thought that was the end. But official word from TSS and SM claimed that they were still part of SNSD. This gave Fans a tiny but improbable hope to wait. Taeyeon's Solos and SNSD-OhGG! kept them satisfied, until 5 years later it finally happened, with Forever 1. Its understated how unprecedented and improbable Forever 1 comeback was. But it gave all 2nd Gens hope that they may see past groups officially comeback again.

Seohyun ate one last time

I remember listening to LIGHT UP THE SKY and One Last Time and crying my heart out because I thought it was really a goodbye song and their last song/album together. Plus, Tiff, Soo., And Seohyun left SM which adds to the emotional heartbreak and SONES were somehow losing hope. Until Tiffany said they will comeback and then 5 years later, they actually did. In SNSD we can really trust.

I've only found 2 good songs in these album, "Fan" and "Only One". And the rest are completely a great song. There is so many songs (excluded title track) in this album that I liked that makes me hard to pick one. But if I have to, I would pick "One Last Time" too. Everything about the song is too good.

The whole album are great imo, my favorites are One Last Time, Fan, Girls Are Back, Sweet Talk, Light Up The Sky You can continue checking out the other albums. I hadn't even thought of checking out the live stages instead. I need to decide which album is next and do some research. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll also add their Japanese albums to the list as well!
