Annie is such an icon!!! Eurythmics gave so much in the 80's....Annie remained the same ...her voice is so particular and warm
Annie is an absolute legend with an instantly recognisable voice.Forget Nicki Minaj,check out 'Why' by Annie Lennox-you will not be disappointed.

I love this lady's music! Been a huge fan since the early '80s when I first heard the Eurythmics. It's next level.
While I usually prefer Annie’s creative music videos, there ARE a few should-not-be-missed live performances. My FAVORITE is Annie DRESSED AS ELVIS when the Eurythmics played “Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This” at the Grammys (I think it was 1984?) Most well known for being half of Eurythmics and they had so many classic 80s songs. Her solo work was great too. The album this comes from, Diva, is really good. Another song from it, Cold, is well worth a listen. Nice reaction as always.

Annie Lennox is a legend and an icon. She’s in the Rocjk Hall of Fame as one half of Eurythmics. She’s also in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Oh…and she won a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal for this song…which is actually a cover. She’s a true artist who plays multiple instruments but is best known for her amazing contralto voice. But she’s also well known as a huge human rights activist- especially for women and people living with HIV. Go ALL the way down this rabbit hole! Love love love Annie she is a beautiful and very talented lady this song is from her DIVA album which is one of my all time favorites it came out in 92 and ive listened to it hundreds of times and had to replace the cd 3 times she also did a whole album of covers named Medusa also wonderful. Loved it thank you !
