What a humble person. I didn’t know the real actor was such a based guy, def my favorite character of the series so far. The mission when he mentions keeping his family secret for their protection really showed the reality of people who fight against these cartels. Even in their own countries they may never feel safe again. Love the CoD MW series, need more of it beyond MW3 for sure.

Bro every war has a shit ton of countries involved, each one with it's own language and culture, what i'm trying to say is that you can make a shitty war game and still have it take place in various countries, languages, etc, due to the nature of these conflicts :)))

Race representation? Just because they have a Latino in their game they start going crazy acting like we didn’t have a black dude and in mw2019 we were literally in a foreign country (I can’t remember what exact one) with that one female character. The media is weird as hell. This ain’t hate to latin or anything it’s just weird how they’re barely bringing race representation as if cod was never doing that.

It's called virtue signaling. They're never satisfied, and all past efforts are rendered meaningless in light of the newest signal. Strong female characters for example. Apparently, Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, Lara Croft, Samus, Ayame, Chun Li, and Princess Leia don't count. Or black superhero movies... Spawn and Blade don't count either. It's fucking stupid.

I cared more about the idea of the Mexican Special Forces and the Cartels being part of a plot. That was interesting. For real though, do people not remember Sgt. Vasquez? While a lot of devs pander these days. As someone who grew up in Mexico. I was excited with how they designed the maps and campaign locations. The team did a real good job.

I’m Latino but I don’t give a shit about race as long as they put their heart into it I give them applause! But this dude did a AWESOME JOB!

He's not the first Spanish lead character on Cod but he defo was awesome and a positive representation for Latin race.

Unlike most of these people in the lime light I never noticed or cared about who was in a film or video game. More people should be like Morgan Freeman, stop talking about race. Just make good entertainment without pushing politics or race. That is all we want.

That's true, and it's funny too because there's no mexican/latino race. I hate to break it but according to science, not politics he is just a white dude. No one in Europe calls Italians, Romanians, or Spanish people different races. The person making that conclusion here would be laughed at.

Who cares if he is the first latino? Tf did they forget other games exist? He is a good actor and that's that.

They did representation the right way and didn't go full out "Ma RePrEsEnTaTiOn" with shit writing and a blatant brownie point grab for a current event agenda to get people who normally don't like that kind of stuff to try it. Activision doesn't always do things the right way, but he was an excellent and badass character.

Given where the storyline took place for this iteration of Modern Warfare, I thought it was well done in that it took place in a hotspot of the world that’s usually overlooked in video games as a setting, typically reserved for movies and such. I was digging the Sicario film vibes from this game, well done.

Clearly none of these people have ever played BO2 campaign, or heard of it
