Hi Lucy, Seems like we’ve been waiting for a while for another kayaking video, you’ve made me think more about rivers and canals and getting out so I thank you for that I’m in the process of getting a kayak for myself I’m 6”4 and a bit unsure atm which I need I literally live 5 minutes from the river Trent in Notts the only problem I think I’ll get is that you have to come back on yourself back to your vehicle I’d prefer to be dropped of and picked moles down stream. I’ll hopefully have one within a few month seems like I’ve got loads to pay for atm 🙈

Hi, that’s so exciting! Sounds like you’ve got an awesome summer ahead of you. I totally get the going out and paddling back problem, and it can get a bit frustrating. However, when you can’t get dropped off or picked up, all the upstream paddling will make you 10 times fitter 💪🏻get out there and enjoy being on the water😄good luck with getting your kayak

@@explorewithlucy93 If you were paddling flat tidal rivers Lucy ? Would you choose the dagger axis elite or the katana ? I'm unsure which would be best for maybe coming back against an incoming tide ? Any advice appreciated !

I love you videos, going to be headed to England soon and smashing some of these rivers

Where is this lovely stretch of water?

Hey so I’m am going to be looking at my first kayak now I’m 6ft2 18.5 stone so not a small bloke and never kayaked before, I was looking at an 11.5ft kayak which is 32 inches wide, do you think that’s a good starter? It’s a sit on?

@@alberttrouble272 Normally, ahaha, I'd be in the pool over the winter with my canoe club, but obviously that wasn't possible this year. I've been doing general at home workouts, trying to keep up my upper body strength. I usually love to swim when it's too cold to be outside
