    You stopped creating videos Daniel? Hope all is well. Been subscribed for years and bought a pre facelift RS3 because of your content. I feel like the style & genuine honesty really resonates with your viewers. You should have x10 times more subs, but such is the KZread algorithm I guess. Good luck.

    Good vid! Ispiri do some nice wheels that fit the rs3. Mp4s are great. Also look at the new eagle f1 supersports. Even better in the wet than the mp4s 😎👍🏼

    Hey Dan, great video coming from RS3 owner with the same thoughts and concerns. Theres a known fault when using mic adapter and just pressing ON/record? it works using the app on phone or turning on the gopro, check mic settings are set correct (external) and then hit record.. There’s videos and comments on youtube about this known fault. Cheers

    Good video. Bet the car feels an absolute beast to drive. I run MP4's on my S3. Great tyre. Much better than P-Zero's or Continental sport 6's. Wheels, BBS CH-R's look good on S3's. Might be worth considering?

    Great vid bro. Just be careful on reliability tho bro, I think if such figures could be reached so easily Audi would have produced them like that from stock. Makes me wonder why they did not. So just be careful re. reliability, also more fuel consumption. Btw your vids are really good, I always look forward to them. You’re a real natural for YT vids!

    While I wouldn’t be overly worried about reliability for this engine (ABT gets 500ps from their tune), it makes sense that Audi doesn’t tune it to that power from stock. It would only eat into the sales of their more premium models (RS4, RS6, etc.).

    Hi Daniel, thinking of stage 1ing my RS3, have had any problems as worried about knackerering engine?

  • @mrdanielknight

    @mrdanielknight

    4 жыл бұрын

    I haven't had any problems and I'm hoping it stays that way! My general advice would be not to push the engine too hard by chasing bigger numbers and be obsessive about your cars temperature - not only let it warm up in the mornings, make sure your temp is good whilst driving and after any hard drives make sure you let the car cool down a little, I normally do the last 20/30 minutes of my commute in Comfort.

  • @mred9161

    @mred9161

    @@mrdanielknight you can code the car using Carista or similar to show the oil temp gauge on its own on a Prefl as - very very stupidly - Audi only chose to display it on one screen by default

    @@mrdanielknight those are some good numbers for not having a decat and uprated intercooler. From a ride in a 550hp Golf R I imagine this to be just as brisk! Would make my 435hp/612nm stage 1 M140i feel sluggish.

    Eventuri stuff looks nice but is stupid money for something that won’t make a huge difference until you’re onto much higher figures. It’s just an air filter ffs doesn’t need to be carbon. Spend the money on more fun stuff! - £1500 for an air filter and intake pipe ffs 😂

    Get rid of those dog shit Pirelli tyres and put some Michelin Sport 4s on it, you will thank the difference You will struggle to get any 18’s with the right off set to clear the front brakes 19 inch Oz super tourismo’s in graphite seems to be the favoured wheel in Europe, they actually look nice on the car, personally i like the original wheels they come with Just upgrade the rubber

    Completely disagree, the bad idea is taking it to clueless Audi dealerships who don’t have the first clue on servicing performance variants. Worst experience I’ve had with a prestige marque, with BMW M being best and AMG in the middle. In terms of modifying that’s also drivel - reliability is not a problem unless the person mapping is inexperienced or is asked to wind the car up beyond safe limits. Have owned enough modded cars over the last 20 years to know a modded one is often better looked after than many poverty spec versions owned by people who don’t have the first clue about preventative maintenance.
