BGC and Makati looks more vibrant in the evenings, guys. Visit the Venice Grand Canal Mall at McKinley Hills just a short distance from BGC. A lot of modern hubs have sprouted all over the Metro or the National Capital Region (NCR) - comprising of 18 cities and a municipality incl Manila itself - the past few years and the first subway in the country will be making its maiden run later this year. Since you like malls, the Mall of Asia (MOA) is a must. This mall is huge and should not be taken as a side trip after exploring the city. It takes a whole day to see some parts of it and right outside is an amusement park with a giant ferris wheel overlooking Manila Bay and eating places along the baywalk. I suggest you go between the hours 5pm and no later than 8pm so you can see the places transform during the day into the evening when the lights are on. Welcome to the country, guys! Safe travels.

For a Manila tour, the places to go are: - Manila Bay - National Museum - Intramuros for a bit of history and check out Distilerya Limtuaco, the oldest distillery in the PH and have a taste of local rums - Binondo for the food trip at the oldest Chinatown in the world (try the fried frog in Estero, the chicken feet and peking duck at Wai Ying, the spring rolls, dumplings, fried siopao and also the hopia from Eng Bee Tin)

If you want to try Filipino food, you can try first Pinoy street foods like fishball, squidball, kikiam, chicken skin, kwek-kwek, banana cue, sorbetes (ice cream), taho and for Filipino dishes, the most popular are sinigang, adobo, sisig, ginataang gulay, chicken inasal, lumpia shangai or ubod and lechon, for dessert, it's halo-halo. 😀😊

thank you for giving Manila a chance, most of the tourists/travellers just pass by Manila due to its chaotic traffic but Manila has many to offer don't miss the OLDEST CHINATOWN IN THE WORLD which is located in Binondo Manila and always use grab for your commute. Within Luzon: Batanes (If you can go here, See for yourself) Pagudpud (White sand Beach) Vigan (Old spanish Town) Banaue (See the man made rice terraces) Buscalan (Get a traditional tattoo) Bagiuo (Cold urban living) Baler (Surfing) La Union (Surfing) Tagaytay (See the smallest active volcano) Legazpi (See the most perfect coned volcano) Laguna (Visit really old churches) Visayas: Palawan (Worlds number 1 island) Boracay Iloilo (Do a food crawl here) Cebu (Many things to do here, too many to mention) Bohol (See tarsiers and the chocolate hills) Camiguin (Volcanic Island) Mindanao: Siargao (Surfing) Cagayan de Oro (White water rafting) Davao (Climb Mt. Apo, see the largest eagle, philippine eagle) Make sure to research before going there. Those places are the only places that I know I still have to travel my own country :)) Keep safe and have fun!

Hi Guys! Once you're done with your urban exploration, here are some places that I recommend you check out: Start with the land travels: 1. Corregidor Island (Bataan) - the last bastion of the Philippines during the WWII 2. Las Casas FIlipinas de Acuzar (Bataan) - a beach resort and heritage destination, they rebuild and showcase Spanish colonial-era mansions. you can go on a day trip or go on an overnight stay in one of their rooms. 3. Tagaytay - Taal Volcano, Twin Lakes and enjoy food like bulalo, tawilis, coconut cream pie 4. Batangas - there are a lot of beach resorts you can choose from, famous for Bulalo as well and the Batangas Lomi 5.. Ilocos Norte - Vigan, Paoay Church, Pagudpod, Bangui Windmills, Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Pataput Viaduct, La Paz Sand Dunes, Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and Malacañang of the North 6. Baguio - Summer capital of the Philippines, temp is a bit colder. Famous for their Buco Pies, Strawberry Taho and Ube jams. Numerous parks to see: Mines View, Burnham, Wright, Botanical Garden. Other places are Camp John Hay (get yourself some warm cup of Tsokolate de Batirol), THe Mansion, Bell Tower, BenCab Museum, Valley of Colors etc) 7. Sagada and Cordillera - after Baguio, if you feel like going more up north. This is where you can find the famous Banaue Rice Terraces (one of the 8 wonders of the world), The Hanging Coffins, Mt. Pulag, Sumaguing Caves, Marlboro Hill, Mt. Kiltepan viewpoint. 8. Albay - home of Mayon Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the Philippines known for its perfect cone shape. ATV Tour of the Mayon countryside and a hike up the lava wall. THey are also known for their spicy peppers so try out some of their food including the Sili Ice Cream. For the islands ( there are over 7,100 islands to choose from HAHAHAH) 1. Cebu - visit Moalboal (home of the famous sardine run diving experience) and Oslob (watch and swim with the whale sharks or Butanding - the largest fish on the planet) 2. Bohol - a short ferry ride from Cebu. There's Chocolate hills (ofcourse!), Tarsiers (you cant miss these cute little primates), Loboc River Cruise, Bohol Bee Farm (aside from the bees 😂, one of their main attraction is their homemade ice creams at The Buzzz Cafe (yes, that's spelled with 3Zs haha) made with natural ingredients with no preservatives and a variety of unique flavors like malunggay, durian, spicy ginger etc), Panglao Island Tour and FIrefly kayaking. 3. Boracay 4. Calaguas and Caramoan - boat ride away from Albay. Caramoan is the famed location of the reality series Survivor 5. Palawan - known as the Philippines' Last Frontier and Best Island. It includes Puerto Princesa (e.g underground caves), El Nido and Coron. Famous for their beautiful beaches, diving spots with rich marine life and karst cliffs. For food, if you're rather daring haha try the Tamilok (I'll let you google this one LOL) and the Crocodile meat. That's it for now, hope this list helps and enjoy the Philippines!

visit the old manila and enjoy the famous sunset in manila bay, also consider exploring the north and south luzon where you can rent a car in manila and drive, there are a lot of beaches just hours drive away from manila, like subic, zambales, la union in the north and batangas in the south

You're absolutely right about the eating while traveling. I was wondering on my last travel adventure which happened to be in the Philippines and why I ate so much all the time. Then I realized that I was super active the whole time because I was either walking everywhere, driving and motorcycling, swimming, shopping, etc. There's just so much to do in that country!

Welcome to the Philippines. How long you guys gonna stay in Manila? The reason I ask is because there are too many places to visit as a tourist. Binondo is a good place to start (the oldest china town in the World), Try some of their delicious food. University of Santo Thomas, (the oldest University in the Philippines and in Asia), Intramuros is also good to see,in front is the Manila Cathedral, Rizal Park, Venice Grand Canal Mall, Oh, Mall of Asia, (one of the biggest mall in the world) this are all located in Metro Manila. Just to name a few. For food try the chicken or pork Adobo, sinigang (Sour soap ) once rated as a # 1 soup in the world, kare-kare, Bulalo Soup ( bone Narrow soup )etc. if your not sure of what you gonna order, make sure to ask the servers to explain it to you. This is just a pointer for you guy to start before you go south for white sand beaches and beautiful sceneries. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines.

We are loving it here... so many places to see, so many different foods to try but most importantly, the most amazingly friendly people 😊🥰

Unofficial national dish we have is Adobo, either Chicken or Pork or a combination. next is Sinigang, either Pork, Fish or Shrimp. Next is, Sisig, either Pork , chicken or fish. enjoy. 🤤

Welcome to the philippines enjoy every hour or a minute. .. im.from bicol region sorsogon ,philippines , Try food. -sinigang na isda,sinigang na baboy,kare kare,lechon,bicol express,laing,balut,kwek kwek.. my suggestion resto. At glorieta name of rest "kamayan restaurant" at greenbelt 2. they have "recipe"and many more. 2nd floor there a lot of resto.
