I'm like you, I love to hear my Music through the external Speakers as well. I added a Kenwood Amp and JBL speakers to the Front on my F6B and it was a vast improvement. Glad that it worked out for you. Thanks for sharing.

Hey G just found this video. I listen to both ext and int. It enhances my ride experience whether chill or energy is required. I work with a guy who never listens to music while riding. Hey G. I just purchased my 2020 Goldwing and thinking about upgrading the Music. I too like to listen to the stock radio instead of my Earpiece. After checking the price and seeing what's involved for the installation I wasn't sure if it was worth it or not. Seems as tough your quite satisfied and I would like to hear one before I consider. For a minute there I thought you was going to hop on the Interboro and hit them turns near Cypress lol. Brooklyn is my old stomping grounds. Born and raised. I believe 2020 plus comes with upgraded stereo. Don’t quote me.

I finally pull the trigger on the OEM stereo upgrade, but I also upgraded the speakers with show chrome accessories 52-767 - 4 1/2" 2-way speaker kit front and rear. I am thrilled with the results.

Dude, you need a job at a radio station. Great voice, man. I think I would rather spend the mighty green on a good com in a well sealed helmet. JBL has a nice upgrade for SENA com. BTW, you know your helmets. Good choice.

Is your audio live during the ride with music on the bike speakers, or voice over in editing? Because the voice is perfectly clear and the balance with background music is spot on. I miss the sights, sounds, and smells of NYC, but not the traffic. Ride safe.

hogdriver88 My audio is live with the music over the bikes speakers. And my setup is inexpensive and basic. Prism camera that shoots 1080 30 fps and SENA headset. Made a huge difference for me. At speeds up to 100mph I can hear with clarity. My passenger not so much above 70mph but that maybe a result of echo from our headsets. Overall at all volumes the quality and clarity is noticeably better.

What year is your goldwing I have ordered the 2022 Goldwing still waiting for it but it suppose to have the upgraded 55 watt speakers so I am wondering if I should still get the amplifier what are your thoughts

I took the plunge in 2018 when they offered 25 watt speakers, hence the need for the upgrade. Thanks for watching and commenting.

2Wheel4Fun I hope I got my point across. Initial impressions are often raw, unedited and often rushed. After spending some time this morning fine tuning the sound I’m even more impressed. All things considered there’s not that much space to work with on these bikes.

The downside is that you lose a large portion of your saddlebags. For me, that won't work. I would like to know what audio upgrades might be available without losing the saddlebag.

charles garalis I disagree as it’s a custom install that offers enough room for me to put my factory bag liner back in. There’s a lot of misinformation out there. No Downside here. A compromise yes, a dealbreaker absolutely not. Thanks for watching.

@@GBeWinginIt , I guess it depends on your priorities. That lost space to me is more important than the improved sound. The best answer would have been to design a smaller amp that doesn't take room from the rider's storage. We shouldn't have to make sacrifices for better sound quality.

$1,000.00 for speakers and amp and another 3-4 hours labor. All in it can cost upwards to $1,400.00 if dealer installed. I lucked out and had the fairings removed while other work was being performed so I saved a few bucks. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Man I don't understand why the best bike on the planet have such an awful sound system. Love my music and can't live with the BASE. But when rollin' at 60 + its horrible. And I rarely use my helmet speakers because when we talk on the Bluetooth, it cuts out my music.

I am with you...I do not really like listening to the music thru the BT speakers.Unfortunately my rear speakers are not working right now. I am sure the wiring has been compromised by the trunk hinge....what a poor design 😒 Great Vlog my man!
