    We bought Aura series 1.5 HP two months ago. Our Room is like 22 sqm. But we are not happy with the cooling we expect to receive. We need to set an electric fan on. We are dissatisfied on this brand😢 we should have bought LG instead

    You should look at the manufacturer's recommended specifications of an air-conditioner for a specific size room, The Aura 1.5hp inverter is good up to 23sqm, but that does not account for the heat load of the room (does it have many windows? or does it have many appliances inside or does many people use the room or not). That should affect your decision for the air-conditioner's capacity. The room this was installed in was only 12sqm, but has 2 large windows, it gets extremely hot without an air conditioner there after 12nn, so instead of buying a 1hp unit, we bought 1.5hp instead.

    Is it just me who is not satisfied with the coldness of this unit? we had a daiken 1.5 split type and its cooling our room efficiently. When I switched to this Carrier aura 1.5 inverter, seems like air/cold quality is not good. I can't feel any coldness unless i face to its fan.

    I purchased this air conditioner. My concern is that it occasionally ceases to emit cold air, and I'm uncertain about the reasons behind it and how to maintain a continuous flow of cold air. Also, have you tried setting the timer for it to switch to fan mode?

  • @Razer2875

    @Razer2875

    The part where it ceases to emit cold air is pretty normal for all air conditioners when they turn off the compressor once the room temperature is reached, if you want continuous cold air, you might wanna set it to the lowest temperature possible, but that will strain the compressor because it will never turn off. The timer only works for turning off the whole air conditioner.

    may I ask how did you install it? we already have an opening in our condo so we just plugged it there and turned it on. its working fine to make the air cold but I'm worried that its a bit too noisy even after a couple of hours from turning it on. we have another inverter AC (koppel brand) but its makes lesser sound than this so I find it a bit weird

    It should have some drippage, your unit might not be installed correctly, it should be slightly slanted backwards so it can drain.

    Econo (or ECO) mode will save more electricity while the unit is in cooling mode. Cycle is another programmable mode (which I haven't tried yet) that could potentially save you more electricity as well. The fact that the unit itself is an inverter can also save much more energy. Keeping the temperature at 25 will also save more electricity compared to when it is set to 18 degrees.

  • @Razer2875

    @Razer2875

    1.0hp is only good up to 22sqm, you need 1.5hp for a 25sqm room. You should check manufacturer recommendations. Also if a room is exceptionally hot and the room has a lot of gadgets or people, you have to take that into account too before buying an air conditioner, since they also produce heat.
