I’m getting destroyed on this thing. Being completely surrounded on low tide with all the barriers in the way of visibility is just brutal.

the stinger and flyfish locations on this map are freaking brutal..

Getting inkjet is a blessing here

Tip on low tide, you don’t have to climb up to the basket to put eggs in, you can go up to the base of the platform it’s on and put in eggs from there. It’s very useful for saving time

3:01 This area isn't so bad if you paint the wall next to the unpaintable area, you can just swim up it and avoid the unpaintable surface altogether!

Yes absolutely this, 100% is one of the most vital walls to ink cus its the only real escape route

It feels really odd how bright it is due to us being under a roof and lights on the roof. There's also cracks in the roof so I assume that's how the chopper gets in

My first impression has been too many players who don’t regularly play Salmon Run are in Freelance…it’s nearly impossible to complete a shift with these players. 😢 I love Salmon Run and Big Run…but the first few hours of this Big Run have been torture!!!

A pattern for me is that none of my teammates are taking down Stingers, Flyfish or lessers, I end nearly every round with multiple times more power eggs because I'm the only one shooting lessers

Oh wow! I'm in this video! I'm really enjoying the stage so far. I think it's really unique compared to the other Big Run stages we've seen. I think the thing I dislike the most though is that centre divider the basket is on in low tide. Its really annoying to climb up especially when you're getting swarmed. But practice makes perfect. Looking forward to more tips!

Low tide is definitely the trickiest part of this map, the bosses spawn in really annoying spots and the basket area is awkward to navigate. I have managed to get 50 eggs on a good low tide wave, but it does require good weapons and teamwork.

Something I've noticed: this map feels like it makes the weaknesses of the Grizzco charger more pronounced.

I find it interesting that to make the helicopter fit in (and prevent clipping), they remove the walls of the map, so it's just a void off in the distance.

So far I’ve been having a rough time getting a good amount of eggs. Low tide especially is huge and I’ve found it touch to transport the eggs.

I just want to say how good the lighting looks on this map

Man I'm really loving this Big Run! I think all the paintable walls and ramps they added make getting around the stage really fun! And even though Low Tide is really tough, I honestly really get a rush when I'm able to survive through the chaos. Probably my favorite Big Run so far!

Lotta weird spots for fish sticks, big shots, and the like. Let’s hope it doesn’t spell doom for us

Got glowfly rush on the wave 1 very first attempt. Squad got wrecked quickly.

I actually like the Glowflies waves in this Big Run And the Mothership Wave as well I wonder if Griller Waves can appear? 🤔

Honestly dont like this map. Able to grt 118 after a few runs. But this map is quite frustrating.

OMG, Salmon Run is brutal on this stage! Hardest Big Run to date. At least on Eggsecutive VP. I'm about to give up. It's just too much.

The map looks incredible, it has one of the most apocalyptic looking designs so far with how the red sky shines through the roof, it’s cool. I pulled 151 eggs in the first hour LMAO.

Don’t know if you figured this out yet, but you can put eggs in the LT basket from the bottom of the ridge wall without throwing them

Low tide is just the worst, especially with unreliable wepaon selections.

I like that it switches between the king salmonids

I would like this map better if the wall were more inkaable

I really need to walk away from these events…just like Splatfest, not having friends to team up with means little if any success. Kudos to those of you who have friends to play with or get lucky and draw good Freelance teams, but my experience in Freelance is just frustration…barely able to meet quota if we actually complete a shift. It’s too easy to get to EVP and too many random players who don’t understand the basics.

Fun fact, the sky is actually still day during night waves, your can see it through the hole in the roof. Only the inside goes dark

I played my first round earlier and i already got 141 eggs!! i love this big run so much

It is funny how many parts of the map are useful to avoid glowfly waves cause the salmonids can't jump there😂

There's a hole in the roof where the copter drops down

The game gave me the charger 60% of the time so far after playing 13 hours of it so far. It * really* wants me to master it. Frustrating as a brush main I’ve only gotten one around 7 times

My first big run game was a high tide. My team got stuck in the uninkable area and we ended with 0 eggs collected

My first game was Normal, normal, high and got 136. Which I'm pretty impressed with considering my second best after 2 hours is 119

I got 129 on my 2nd run and doubt im getting it again. Funny how usually one of my first 5 runs is my best score. You would think you would need time to learn and stuff but really I've been getting deleted by drizzler rainclouds lately.

During the gameplay of Big run, is there any issues that you have difficulty face to face?

I feel to cramped in this map. I hate it.

Around 150 judging purely by the comments. Most of them got 140 in less than an hour. Maybe they are ALL salmon sweats. But I doubt it.

So played already and got decent 112 Record. Map is okay but on low Tide its crap, don't like it. Pool System continues to be bad, why Refresh Button if I still see already full Games as avaiable. So far Fun but that crappy Grizzco Sniper with its enourmes Ink Consumption is no Fun.

For now I'm sitting at 143 eggs and so far I really like the map! HT and NT are great LT is okay, it's not like it's difficult or anything but is more that I don't like how recollecting eggs is can be a little more difficult but it isn't that bad. Trying to get as high VP as possible to start getting better teammates, for now I'll take a rest at 400 VP freelance without any losses

Wow seeing a lot of hate for this map already. The point of these maps is to be novel and different; try not to hate something just cus its unfamiliar folks. Tbf though there *is* a ton of uninkable terrain, but most of it seems managable to me. The area haz got stuck in beside the basket on normal tide isnt as bad as it looks. Theres an inkable wall there though it isnt tremendously obvious. Remeber to ink y'walls people~ High score of 105 so far! Looking forward to grinding it :3

As an avid Salmon Run player, I am in EVP 350 and still don’t like the map. It’s very cluttered and almost no room on any tide. I think the way they space the spawn points is interesting, but actually makes the map worse in practice. As a result, Spillway is way too susceptible to flash floods of enemies, which I can imagine from a casual perspective would be FAR too overwhelming. There are some other gripes I have that I feel are difficult to demonstrate or explain, but I’ll try. On Normal Tide, there are 2 spawn points close to the basket, and 2 far. Naturally, you’ll want to cover the close spawn points to prevent catastrophe early on. However, the close left spawn point is close enough to the far left spawn point, that if you cover the close left spawn point, enemies from the far left spawn point will try to crawl back to the close left spawn point. As a result, the area that is most likely to cause a flash flood just for being close to the basket now has DOUBLE the enemies. This comes off to me more as a design oversight than an intentional feature.

This is a horrible big run lmao

I think this is the best map yet. It's hard but it's a lot of fun, I like really intense challenges like this.

@@yousquiddingme Idk, Wahoo to me has been the best map so far. Inkblot was a nightmare. This one gets chaotic really fast. I’m doing fairly well on it but it’s pretty unforgiving

The scale rewards are still trash
