Eh, nothing in this vid is really that incongruous with current canon. Like, Ashley has demonstrated since Episode 1 that pretty women approaching Andrew or him just acknowledging their existence is enough to raise her hackles. She also nakedly never liked Julia, as stated in the official vid. Harassing her pre-hookup still makes sense.

Mostly that the most 'serious' part of the video including him using JULIA against Ashley like he genuinely cared about her...which with the latest preview of chapter 3 we know that, no, he never did, he was using her from the very beginning XP Everything else is perfectly in-character for something that may have happened, yeah, but just like how quickly he dismissed knowing Ashley harrassed her before their brutal argument in Chapter 1, I was mostly joking how now we have full confirmation Andrew would never actually bring her actions against Julia in a serious argument with Ashley because not only he didn't really care, he actively used her as much for ASHLEY's sake as well as his own XP

@saintneos4557 Okay, I see better what you meant then. Still think it’s a bit of a misreading of Andrew though. During the big blowup at the end of Episode 1 he did bring up Ashley spamming Julia’s phone, just like he complains about her starting fights with random girls around school first in this vid (which is what I was referring to in my first comment). Sure, he may not care about Julia as a person much, but he at least cares about Leyley going after her in so far that if she goes too far it’ll get the cops involved (either because Julia reports her or becomes another Nina) or just cause more drama for him to have to smooth over.

I know this is a fan animation, but it seems so much like the real game

@@ADcommenter Or they were born in the very late 90s like i am and be in their 20s in 2024 perhaps were teens-young adult teens in the mid 20s or around 2012-2019 (or slightly younger however that wont make sense so they will have been a bit older) It is not specific how old they are and what their birth anniversary date is however they are in their early 20s young adult life according to the creators of COAAL trilogy and they are still young around early and mid 20's years.

the road getting darker and darker as they stand out more and more is a nice touch

Damn... you should really turn it into a series of sorts. Not just random, goofy episodes, like with Andrew hurling a plushie at Ashley, but those last two. They fit into the lore so well they can be actually treated as canonical flashbacks.

These shorts started out high-quality and have only gotten better with each upload. The extent to which you can play with the sprites is surprising, and you can channel the character voices to a level with actual canon. I hope you keep doing these, you got my sub.

@@Dr._Potato if the events of the game take place b/w 98' - 02'. And we know their in their 20/22. It would put their DoB around 78' - 82'. That's end of Gen X and start of millennials if I'm not wrong. So maybe Andrew might be gen X, but Ashley is definitely millennial. Tbh, these gens do blend into each other at the start and end, so technically we're both right in our own ways.

And as stated before the childhood scenes are confirmed to be set in the 80's, and Andy already seems quite mature so he's probably born in the 70's. Both of them seem to speak quite well so they're both probably >6 In this video the siblings seem to be late teens as their sprites are the same as adults but with different clothes. So the siblings are probably around 18 to 16 as they are still in high school, So assuming Leyley was born in 1980 (Not confirmed) then millennials would be ~16 around the time of this video

It's been in my tabs since it was uploaded, wheesh... This is wonderful! The world feels SOOO alive here! Stuff is moving, Andy & Leyley's sprites change mid-speech... WOW!!! 0:48 is just peak. Alas, at 4:43 the police car was far away, so 4:47 reminded me how in dubbed games the timings could be completely off. Like, in the Russian dub of Portal 1 the very first voiceline is 2 times longer, which is a problem because in the original GLaDOS says "Portal will open in 3...2...1..." and it was designed to open at the same time when that line ends, but in the dub you can complete the whole first level and she still would be talking.

I’ve haven’t really seen anything about this game so I wanted to get into so I said. “One more clip before I watch a gameplay” Little did it know this was FAN ANIMATED. Props. You got it accurate! Ggs bro!

Did it actually? Do you really think that Ashley “Put The _ _ _ _ In A Box” Graves would only be jealous of and harass Julia after she started going out with Andrew? Julia herself said Leyley acts like she hates her and doesn’t treat her like a friend at all even before that.
