First flight of DJI Air 3
I thought I would go back to Ennerdale to try out my new Air 3 but from the other side of the lake this time. Love the drone and really happy with it, need to adjust a few settings and that should help with the quality a bit.
Ennerdale is the most westerly of the lakes, and the most remote, so it offers, even in high season, a place to escape. It is a deep glacial lake, 2.5 miles long 3/4 mile wide and 148 feet deep. The water is exceptionally clear, and contains a variety of fish. It currently serves as a reservoir for the coastal towns of West Cumbria
The closing sequences of the movie 28 Days Later (2002), directed by Danny Boyle, were filmed around the Ennerdale area, and include a sweeping panoramic view of the lake.

Lovely one David. Calmness prevailing. I liked the pan over to the scree and rock👏and the merging of clips was nice. Good job and have a super Sunday.

Nice vid as usual. My favourite lake, although the best bit is up past Char Dub where it's tourist free. Happy new drone.

Cheers mate, love the new drone, got a shock at how fast it is when I first took off. Had to adjust a few settings, getting used to it now though. I wasn't going to buy it because of the price, then I thought to hell with it, if I don't get it now then I never will. Besides my good friend Mr Visa said he would buy it for me. lol.
That's from the other carpark = the one that's a fair drive round from the main carpark and is elevated up a bit? I flew i Mini 2 from there on a really windy day when I first discovered Ennerdale on my last visit in 2021. Definitely plan to return when I'm up that way in a couple of weeks :). Good luck with the Air 3. Not flown anything newer than an Air 2 in the Air series. Video looks good.
