First Fish Of 2024 Has Been Caught! Fishing The Inlet In Ocean City Maryland

My first fish of 2024 has officially been caught! Wow what a great time. Not a "hot bite" by any means, the water temp was only 45, but it was still great to catch my favorite fish as my first fish for 2024.
Thanks as always for watching!

Tell ya what REALLY works well for Tog there at the jetty is 1 sandflea and a piece of shrimp. We got 11 this fall on the other side with that bait combo. Great video.

Ice fishing sounds FUN! I haven't been in close to 25 or 30 years. Late January it looks like things are cooling off.

With so little boat traffic it's odd to see the inlet so calm.

I go for minimal snags. Casting out further is a higher chance to snag. Plus I've caught bigger fish in the rocks.
