hey hun, maybe you should try to shorten the end of your sling by making a knot in it for example because you can accidentally trip over it this way, and I saw in the video that you were standing on an escalator, it can also get stuck in it and of course you shouldn't want that ❤️ I say this absolutely not out of criticism but purely to help because you may not have thought of this 🙏🏼💕

I don’t know how it works over in the USA 🇺🇸 when it comes to adoption, but I was adopted 63 years ago and the Story my Mum tells me about my adoption is that when they were applying to adopt, they try to match the Bubba as much as they can to the parents adopting the baby, I have dark hair just like my Mum and people that don’t even know I’m adopted would tell me How Much Like My Mum I Looked, moments like that My Mum Just Beamed With a Beautiful Smile and to this day with her now in a nursing home, I get told how much I’m like My Mum and they have No Idea that I was adopted, I Was Loved and Wanted My Whole Life, Sadly my Dad passed 33 years ago and my sister who is younger than me was also adopted and looked very much like our Dad in colouring, the same hair colour as him…🩷🩷💙🇦🇺

They didn't have the wraps when my adopted daughter was born but if they did I would have carried her around 24/7!!! Well, after I got used to the idea that I wasn't smothering her. My daughers 5th baby is only 4 months old but my daughter wears her wrap a little different, she tucks her head in one of the shoulder wraps not with the butt piece. There is probably many ways to do it. I think my daughter says it's just easier to nurse her that way.

I carried my adopted daughter until she was almost 7, I loved he being right next to her. Lots of people kept telling me to put her down but I loved it and she loved it. Wondering...does Story ever cry? She always seems so content!❤❤❤❤❤ much love to you three!

Did you think about that they might be going to take her to see family? Maybe a sick relative and show them the baby? It’s not one bit OUR business why anyone makes the decisions they do..whether they are on SM or our family or our next door neighbors. It’s their life. Respect that. Either enjoy the content or move on. It’s not hard to be kind and non- judgmental. It really isn’t. And life is smoother that way, when we mind our own business.

When you had kids, if you have kids you never went anywhere with them. Cause even taking them to the pediatricians office can get them sick. You having family come visit in your home could make them sick if someone has an illnes they didn't know they had or were coming down with.

@@vbuzani79 she’s not really still a NB since I think she was 2 months when she was adopted. That is more considered an infant. And when I used a hypothetical example such as visiting a sick relative I meant someone that maybe is terminal(thus prob not contagious) and may not get to see her before they pass. I think it is fine. I’m a retired nurse, so I’m cautious in general, but letting fear dictate our lives is not healthy. I took my kids with me everywhere(until I had twins and a 3 year old and had to let their dad do a lot of the errands due to logistical reasons lol). My daughter and SIL took their infant on an airplane(around 3 months old) to see her step moms family. Esp if it’s a short flight I think they are having fun and enjoying their new family❤️ God bless their excitement and joy…it’s so sweet!

I know I was telling her that too that is so close to the floor and I even saw it next to her foot when she was stepping forward as she looks at the video play giving me anxiety as well and there's horror stories about people getting caught in escalators and elevators and all kinds of things cuz they're not wrapping them enough times around them

So happy for you both! Friendly tip to consider, in the carseat, try to remember to put the handle back down because keeping it up prevents the carseat from "cocooning" to keep her safe if an accident were to happen. Gotta keep that precious gift safe! **edited to add that some carseats actually do want the handle up, so just be sure to read your manual and see. The chicco keyfit 30 specifies the handle should be down but yours may differ! Happy and safe travels 😊 **edited again because rereading our manual, it can be in any of the locked positions. Although this goes against what i heard from hospitals and firefighters saying to keep it down. Certain carseats don't have locked positions so it needs to be down? Idk. Read your manuals lol.

@@Hehe-gq4st Illegal? No. Against medical advice? Yes. Edit: Depending on age. I’m not sure if the baby is actually 3 weeks old or not… it may be older. Most pediatricians recommend newborns not being exposed to crowds until they are at least two months of age or have received their first round of childhood vaccinations.

hey hun, maybe you should try to shorten the end of your sling by making a knot in it for example because you can accidentally trip over it this way, and I saw in the video that you were standing on an escalator, it can also get stuck in it and of course you shouldn't want that ❤️ I say this absolutely not out of criticism but purely to help because you may not have thought of this 🙏🏼💕

I don’t know how it works over in the USA 🇺🇸 when it comes to adoption, but I was adopted 63 years ago and the Story my Mum tells me about my adoption is that when they were applying to adopt, they try to match the Bubba as much as they can to the parents adopting the baby, I have dark hair just like my Mum and people that don’t even know I’m adopted would tell me How Much Like My Mum I Looked, moments like that My Mum Just Beamed With a Beautiful Smile and to this day with her now in a nursing home, I get told how much I’m like My Mum and they have No Idea that I was adopted, I Was Loved and Wanted My Whole Life, Sadly my Dad passed 33 years ago and my sister who is younger than me was also adopted and looked very much like our Dad in colouring, the same hair colour as him…🩷🩷💙🇦🇺
Don't forget to make sure she has good air space when you are wearing her, babies need good air space so they don't sufficate.

They didn't have the wraps when my adopted daughter was born but if they did I would have carried her around 24/7!!! Well, after I got used to the idea that I wasn't smothering her. My daughers 5th baby is only 4 months old but my daughter wears her wrap a little different, she tucks her head in one of the shoulder wraps not with the butt piece. There is probably many ways to do it. I think my daughter says it's just easier to nurse her that way.

I carried my adopted daughter until she was almost 7, I loved he being right next to her. Lots of people kept telling me to put her down but I loved it and she loved it. Wondering...does Story ever cry? She always seems so content!❤❤❤❤❤ much love to you three!

One good thing about adopting is that the adopting mommy has no postpartum blues, so she has more energy to deal with all that needs dealing with around the house.
Seeing her talk and smile just melted my heart!! She is soooo blessed to have had her mom pick YOU as parents!!

Please learn how to wrap the wrap. It’s hanging so low to the ground and all I can think of is it’s going to get stuck on the escalator or you’re going to trip. Also why are you traveling with a newborn? Too early

Did you think about that they might be going to take her to see family? Maybe a sick relative and show them the baby? It’s not one bit OUR business why anyone makes the decisions they do..whether they are on SM or our family or our next door neighbors. It’s their life. Respect that. Either enjoy the content or move on. It’s not hard to be kind and non- judgmental. It really isn’t. And life is smoother that way, when we mind our own business.

When you had kids, if you have kids you never went anywhere with them. Cause even taking them to the pediatricians office can get them sick. You having family come visit in your home could make them sick if someone has an illnes they didn't know they had or were coming down with.

I know , she’s still a newborn you shouldn’t be taking her out even if a relative is sick I’m sorry but the baby can easily get sick. They look more like they’re playing mommy and daddy. Influencers are a joke not all but most.

@@vbuzani79 she’s not really still a NB since I think she was 2 months when she was adopted. That is more considered an infant. And when I used a hypothetical example such as visiting a sick relative I meant someone that maybe is terminal(thus prob not contagious) and may not get to see her before they pass. I think it is fine. I’m a retired nurse, so I’m cautious in general, but letting fear dictate our lives is not healthy. I took my kids with me everywhere(until I had twins and a 3 year old and had to let their dad do a lot of the errands due to logistical reasons lol). My daughter and SIL took their infant on an airplane(around 3 months old) to see her step moms family. Esp if it’s a short flight I think they are having fun and enjoying their new family❤️ God bless their excitement and joy…it’s so sweet!

I know I was telling her that too that is so close to the floor and I even saw it next to her foot when she was stepping forward as she looks at the video play giving me anxiety as well and there's horror stories about people getting caught in escalators and elevators and all kinds of things cuz they're not wrapping them enough times around them

So happy for you both! Friendly tip to consider, in the carseat, try to remember to put the handle back down because keeping it up prevents the carseat from "cocooning" to keep her safe if an accident were to happen. Gotta keep that precious gift safe! **edited to add that some carseats actually do want the handle up, so just be sure to read your manual and see. The chicco keyfit 30 specifies the handle should be down but yours may differ! Happy and safe travels 😊 **edited again because rereading our manual, it can be in any of the locked positions. Although this goes against what i heard from hospitals and firefighters saying to keep it down. Certain carseats don't have locked positions so it needs to be down? Idk. Read your manuals lol.

@@Hehe-gq4st Illegal? No. Against medical advice? Yes. Edit: Depending on age. I’m not sure if the baby is actually 3 weeks old or not… it may be older. Most pediatricians recommend newborns not being exposed to crowds until they are at least two months of age or have received their first round of childhood vaccinations.
