First Experiences With An Inverted Tractor Snowblower
We purchased our TYM T494 tractor in the spring along with a 68 inch Wifo Upshot inverted snowblower. This was our first time using a snowblower like this. In the video, I'll share my thoughts on it.

Hey Jack, I had a great time working with you this week, thanks for the laughs and the humbling water bottle to the noggin! Good Luck!
Inverted blowers are the best
You may wanna look into installing a metallic snow guard for the metal roof, they help a lot, thanks for the video.
Well that is a cool rig for sure Jack! I think you might be missing the true experience of winter snow blowing. Lol. Cheers and have a good weekend Mike.
It seems that real winter has arrived!
Living the high life man, thing looks sweet 💪💪
Wow that works great Jack
My first snowblower was destroyed by a random piece of oak firewood left by someone. I had just got it and didn't know the previous owner had put the strongest grade bolt in the drive shaft...so the gear box, spline etc. went kaboom. Now I check every time.
That looked like fun! Someday we will have a tractor! We have much to do on our new homestead (bought Nov 10th 2023). We are very excited to get thing started, but the weather is affecting all that at the moment. We are locate in South Mid KY (Franklin, KY). I will be new to raising chickens, but my husband had them in MN when he was a kid! First year little plans. Horses come first with a barn!
I would like to thank you. I sold my kubota m7060 and bought a t494 with a cab a couple of months ago. your channel and a couple others helped me decide on the t494. I have the r14 tires and they are awesome. I had ag tires on the kubota and I had to have chains to do anything in the snow. The t494 with a cab pushes snow better than the m7060. We have had a couple of storms with a foot of wet heavy snow here in northern Vermont and it was no problem. The heater in these tractors will cook you. When I first had it on, I wasn't paying attention I got so hot and sweaty and feeling queasy like being in a sauna too long. I have always had gear driven tractor, and this is my first hydro. I think it works so much better for plowing it makes it a lot faster where you have a lot of back and forth. I enjoy your channel and wish you and your family a happy new year.

@@billnolin9423 ag tires are better than r4 in snow. R4 is the worst tire for snow.
I was wondering about projectiles towards the glass, gonna have to be careful. Thanks for the video
Funny how sometimes we men are in the cozy cab while the wife is outside shoveling snow like a champ.

Who said chivalry was dead? Just kidding, I owe her big time!
Looking sweet on snow removal. Poor Jay & Jen in Minnesota bought and old used one for their old tractor - only worth scrap price cause it doesn't work
Howdy Jack… So that works out pretty good… I will say that rock took me by surprise.. I never even gave that a thought. Just remember door glass is about 800$ .. hahahahaha Don’t be like Al. So I am pretty impressed with it.. I am sure you will find all the little tricks on the best way… I will say that storm was fun.. I was able to blow it almost 30 feet… 😁 And like you this is our first year with a metal roof.. We do have the bars over our house door and the side door to the garage. So it’s a learning process this year.. I will tell you the dog hates the snow sliding off the roof.. hahahahah Thanks for sharing your new toy with us.. Oh and yup.. Must have a Cab… hahahahaha I also crank the tunes hahaha Go 603
Seems like you did the snow blowing backwards with the way you were tossing the snow and it just landing back on the driveway when you were near the house. Might be better to start by the house but it's your tractor and you can do it however you want to. Thanks for the video.
No snow here yet. Thankfully
Let's see the video! Football is gonna start soon, haha
C'mon man we need to hear and see more of that pull behind snowblower. Nobody is putting out info in a non commercial application on that type of snowblower. Do it and you'll be a leader on blowers in the You Tube universe. Going where no you tubers have gone before... something like that 😜😜
HOW DOES THE PULL TYPE SNOWBLOWER WORK IN WET, HEAVY SNOW? I’M LOOKING AT GETTING ONE FOR MY DRIVEWAY I AM CURIOUS IF CLOGGING IS AN ISSUE WITH HEAVY SNOW. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work.

I wasn’t able to use it a ton this winter (not a ton of snow) but I didn’t notice it clogging any more or less than the front mount we had on the Kubota.
Wouldn't a V-Blade on the front that left a 3 foot wide pile in the middle work great with that blower.
Need to use your bucket to back the snow from the doors then blow it away

@@TheMindfulHomestead I must have missed them. I'll have to watch.
Will be interesting to see you drive over 2 feet or a 4 foor snow bank to blow it tho. I'd be considered about that part.
