Yaaaaaasssssss call me baby is what got me into exo and I've been into them since 2015.... I love this song so much bc it sounds like shit I would listen to late 90s early 2000s.. Like Justin Timberlake backstreet boys I love it. And also this song was produced by teddy Riley if y'all didn't know.. Fun fact : the demo version was originally called call me. Daddy ❤️

Yeah call me baby was meant to be a throwback concept.. But I would say overall EXO has a lot of versatility in their music.

🇺🇸 I would definitely say EXO is more pop than hip hop. They do give off a similar vibe to *NSYNC is Backstreet Boys back in the day. Some of the biggest kpop groups right now can mostly be divided into two categories: kpop and khiphop. I’d say groups like Exo, Seventeen, Vixx, Red Velvet, TWICE: k-pop influences BTS, NCT 127, GOT7, MonstaX definitely more k-hip hop influenced

EXO and GOT7 have never been hip hop. BTS were hip hop but they have moved on to Pop since wings era. Block B, iKon and B.A.P still do hip hop.

Got7 is definitely edm pop with a tad of r&b sprinkled in, farthest from hip hop. Monsta X is in the same edm pop category but with lots of rap elements.

They're all (kpop groups) comfortable enough because they spend years training before debuting, so that's where the dedication comes from... Idk how do explain it, but the training is hard and many quit during the process. They also take the chance of training without knowing if they're going to debut someday, so whoever in kpop that you see are those who survived the training. I think that, this is something that many western artists don't have... Here, if you have talent and are discovered then you can sign a contract and 'be famous' in Korea you have to audition and get better in your area like singing among with learning from the start things that you don't do like dancing, so they really work for it.

Yeah, it would be so cool if they could react to SHINee & "Replay" as it's their & thus the song's 10 year anniversary this year (note to reactors: ignore the date on video that says 2011, it's really 2008...it just got reuploaded a few years later to their company's new channel). It has such a great old school R&B flavor. I'd love it if they'd do a back to back reaction of "Replay" and then one of Taemin's solo videos like "Drip Drop", "Move", or "Thirsty" to see how he grew up from the smiling 14 year old in the Star Wars shirt & yellow jacket (although he's wearing a "wicked" shirt later in the video...a sign of things to come?) to the man today who messes us all up so badly that our entire concept of sexuality get wrecked. After "Move" we all became Taemin-sexual. Oh, and if you guys watch "Replay" Jonghyun (who tragically committed suicide in December) is the one who starts the song & he's wearing a Rolling Stones tongue t-shirt & then later a plaid shirt.
