It’s the worst feeling to be surrounded with people and be totally alone. It’s hard to be something for everyone else and have nothing coming back to you. I feel his emotions. I’m impressed with his honesty.

I know it’s difficult for all of them. I can’t imagine the logistics but they need to figure it out because they all need to have close friends and someone to love and love them back. But you have to open yourself up first or it won’t happen.

I love how Jackson says celebrities are overrated it's just a job like being a doctor or lawyer or better yet a Starbucks employee. He's so humble too. And the way he described his depression is very relatable.

This is one of the best interviews I have watched. It felt so real, genuine and I even got to love Jackson more and more. I wish more celebrities could be a little open, so to lessen the burden they have on them. Woody FM is the best ❣️😭😍

Jackson doesn't shy away from deep topics, he loves to get personal and show almost every part of himself. That's why I like him!

He is one of the rare kpop idols who is honest about himself and his imperfections

I could not stop crying when he started talking about being lonely. Ever since I knew who Jackson was, he has always been my ideal husband. His spirit is just unexplainable and I've always felt an emotional attachment to his character. He could not have described that feeling of being lonely any better. If my feelings are correct, he is missing the part of himself that wants his own person to love, his other half, he wants to have a love of his own family and is missing out on that part of his life. He has the money and has the fame, but it will never amount to having pure love with another person that he can share these moments with. This was a very amazing interview. I hope Jackson receives everything he desires for his life ❤️❤️❤️

I’m 41 now, I got married since 22 right after graduated …I used to feel like a winner within my friends group since everyone like jealous diamond ring came with a large bouquet on my graduation day😅 Until recently, I can’t go to any K-pop concert or fan meet 😓I have money but what am I supposed to tell my man?😅 So, appreciate being single and enjoy your freedom. We support Jackson for being real and for facing his inner fears. And for trying to live a celebrity life that is somehow true and just to purely entertain people by sharing his talents. Bless you Jackson!

It's unfortunate that because he's an idol- there are limited people who have access to him. There are so many people out here that would love to be his friend or more, but will never get the opportunity to connect beyond showing up and supporting him as an artist. I hope he finds someone soon. That soul connection he wants -means it's also needed.

I work in the entertainment industry, but in film, and it's a very lonely job. I've become very distant from friends, i know they love me and care about me, but they don't understand what being in the industry and what that job means...

While I’m sure your experience is compounded by fame and a constant travel schedule, the experience of loneliness and depression is pretty universal (especially during the pandemic). The last few years were the hardest of my life. I felt like I lost sight of my identity and what I love about myself. Even now with the world reopened, even though I am surrounded by many wonderful friends and family, I still struggle with loneliness. Seeing you talk publicly about these feelings is a helpful reminder that I am not the only one struggling, and that I shouldn’t be too hard on myself for being depressed despite outward markers of success. I hope you take care of yourself and find happiness and meaningful connections. 🙏❤

I've always found Jackson to be entertaining, but this interview made me appreciate him that much more. To see and hear his honesty, added a depth to his person and talent that is both admirable and refreshing. I love that he sees himself first, and the "showbusiness" side of him, second. I honestly admire and look up to Jackson for his personality and he's just so genuine as an artist in every way. The only celebrity that is always in my prayer cuz of how kind-hearted he is and the coolest guy, who deserved to to be a role model for youngsters.

It's such a heartwarming situation whenever I come across good folks.. like, no cover, no fakeness, no drama.. just, being a simple ass person.. rooted, grounded, funny, weird, awkward... just plain real ish out there. Mr. Wang is a delight to watch. I will listen to his music, for sure. Would love if y'all recommend some of his creations.. thank you.

Wow… this just came my way and I’m so blown away because I previously saw his facial expression on several post and understood exactly where he was coming from. He’s not alone in this black and white = grey area. I mentioned that he can be around millions of people and still feel lonely. It’s his soul that feels a void and needs to be filled with real love. He’s saying look at me inside the real me not what’s outside or around me. I get him and love the fact that he keeps it raw and real. By the way his English is phenomenal. My wish is that when the time is right Jackson Wang’s heart ♥️ will be filled to the fullest extent with love. He’s a rare jewel 💎 and that makes him unique. Thank you for this excellent interview.🥹
