I went to the very first TikTok meetup event in Canada! This TikTok Summit Event was held at the Meridian Hall in downtown Toronto, and featured special guest Michael Bublé!
It was a 10 hour round trip and had to make it through a lot of go and rain. I stopped by the Big Apple on my way to Toronto and picked up a few little treats for my kids and wife.
I arrived in Toronto early so I decided to spend some time at my friend's place and we went for some Trinidadian food! Watch to see what we end up getting. Afterward, we visit my friend's restaurant before heading off to the TikTok 2022 meet up.
This was the first and biggest official TikTok event held in Canada, with over 2000 attendees. Watch all the way through to hear all my thoughts and comments on the event.
It was definitely cool to see all these creators and advertising meeting up in one place. Though a more organized structure may have made it a more beneficial event as far as meet and greets go.
The presentations were very informative, learned a lot of things about TikTok. Michael Bublé is a very active TikTok user and he was a special guest at the event.
After the event was when the food and drinks were available, as well as free TikTok swag, which everyone loves. At the very end of the video, I tell you all the takeaways I had from this first ever Canadian TikTok Summit meet up.
