I feel that the fact that I really don't like half the debut characters is actually somewhat of a plus, bc it means only that they are ambitious with their designs, and so I'm bound to really like some of them.

I think that's something writers in the game industry miss really often, some try to write all characters to appeal to as many people as possible instead of going for more ambitious designs. Thankfully, ZZZ has been pretty diverse with the characters so far and has given them actual personalities. Hopefully we will have more unconventional characters like Ben Bigger in the future.

Don't be surprised... It is together with THE banner. Those Sphere thing, yes they are the Weapon/Lightcone on this game. But I bet that on release there will be a weapon banner cuz that scks if they will put S-rank weapon together with Character banner.

And all that money have been sourcing to a lot of good benefits for the players and company as well. They've been improving non stop for the past few years and been releasing new games, hire new dev, musicians, famous voice actors, giving free rewards to the players and lots of more things. If you see the perspective of a company, they also need to compensate their staffs and 3rd party collab & workers, thats not for free. Everything needs money, but hey the game isnt necessarily need for you to pull each character to clear the content, even basic rewards they gave can gives you multiple 5 star throughout the year. If you don't want to support a developer or a company, don't spend your money or your time, or don't play at all. When the company goes down, having bad financial issue, the players will also too feels the wrath.

Look at their net profit margins for the past 3 years in comparison to other Gacha games, I don't think they are "Going Down" any time soon! I have and will spend money on Hoyo games, because they are amazing games! However, it insane to blatantly accept that spending 100 dollars does not guarantee the 5 star on banner. It also is insane to consider their top up is only done at the launch of new zones. The point is they redesigned their pity system for their weapon banners on genshin. So it can be done. Not to mention that your first 50 pulls in this game you are guaranteed an SS. Giving any criticism towards their IPs has got creators cancelled, it's unfortunate. @@haku9815
