On the surface he does indeed sing about smokin weed and staying at home watching netflix, yes. but if you really listen to the music and the lyrics you realize: It's a song about depression. This reflects in the lyrics, they symbolize the way you lie to yourself in a depressive period, how you reason to yourself, how you pity yourself even. The music on the other hand does both, it symbolizes what the lyrics are talking about with the melancholy present while also expressing the restlessness you often feel in such a period, in this case with the dancy rhythm section and by combining these different elements the song tries to express what a depressive period feels like

So sehe ich das auch. Eine Zeile sagt auch: Ich warte darauf, dass ich wieder fühlen kann! Also definitiv ein heartbreak song, obwohl die Musik im krassen Gegensatz zum Tanzen animiert. Finde ich total interessant diesen Gegensatz.

Henning absolutely lives for the music, it's so endearing to see him go fully into it when performing. For him, it's clearly not about fame & fortune, but about making music with his friends. He would still do this if nobody ever paid him to do so.

You seemed not in the best mood on this one, which is unfortunate, because I think you are a lot more clever than most reactors. The western part actually goes to " the lads with revolvers help you forget that you drink to forget". That combined with the eating take-out for weeks and the general lethargic feel of the lyrics makes me personally think it is a song about depression, or at least a much deeper melancholy.
