It's strange, I was love the show but was feeling depressed, all the great bikes, but I was worried my health will prevent me riding again. The guy with a heart transplant was an inspiration. Strange i saw it when I did. Thx

We motorcycle enthusiasts are like a huge family. We may have different beliefs, We may speak different languages, we may even have different values, but there is a common thread of respect we have for one another as riders. What an incredible contribution to to our common passion, and way of life, is this museum. Jimmy, an individual who's mindset and love for living will inspire any who hear his story, and see his fire. Great things are happening right there.

Gotta say, I and many others, love when you talk about prices of these classics!!! When you say that a bike on an online auction is only 6 large, when we all are thinking close to DOUBLE that!! It makes me feel like most, if not all resto’s are easily within our price ranges!! And has me salivating for one of these classics!!!! Share the prices = most customers!!!!!

I have a recommendation for you start every day with a cup of coffee and going to the garage and start your motorcycle it doesn't matter if you write it just started in here the motor and if you feel up to it take a ride around the house or down the street just 5 minutes every day if you do that for every 90 days I promise you your depression will be on watch more of our videos there very upbeat Dan to let me know how you do I have been there myself the only way out is to ride your motorcycle every day sorry for the typos it speech to text and ML&R

those old CZ 250's could do over 100mph tuned for the Pike's Peak Hill Climb..as there next event a month later was held in the Jemez mountains just outside of Los Alamos New Mexico racing up a Forest Service dirt road to a Ski Lodge at the top of the mountain. It was 1975 and I'm riding a 1973 Yamaha mx250 set up for desert racing with a top end of 92 miles per hour and there's always this guy with 1974 YZ250 at the motocross races we attended All That season as soon as I got the holeshot he would put me in second place with his YZ250 and sure enough as I got the holeshot at the hill climb here coms the YZ250 blowing past me but as always had plenty of lead on the pack and on our way to the top and then on a long straightaway halfway up that was pretty level so I tuck in and top out and all of a sudden out of nowhere this Pike's Peak dude on a CZ 250 followed by a cloud of dust goes by me like I was parked then he is taking aim on my buddy up ahead on the YZ250 then happens to a whole new game changer as we're all topped out that's when the CZ 250 CZeezd his piston that was buzzzing on the pipe to deadly silence as i noticed his rear tire was no longer turning but cutting a deep rut in a hard packed us forest service river rock mix of mountain side granite highway that became an air born astroid field i am plunging into at 90mph like a star wars video game just before it says game over . but not a problem after i peel of my shattered rocky cycle goggles just in time to see spectators parting their vantage points of viewing the race on the side of a huge hill that makes a dog leg in the middle of the course that propels me Evel Knievel Style gaining altitude overhead the spectators and the dogleg Landing back on course like a pro Spectators applauding I've got the throttle wfo like no fear but in reality I'm scared shitless white knuckling the grips and can not let go frozen in time as everything looked to me in slow motion as landed back into 2nd place behind my rival on the YZ 250 as we continue gitten it all the way to the top as i was officially clocked at 92mph for 2nd spot in the 250 pro class on a 1973 Yamaha MX 250 ported aftermarket tuned chamber and a cast base and tig welded extruded silencer internal tuned stinger all aluminum with a 17 tooth trans sprocket and a 60 tooth rear long travel kit in the forks and some kind of gas peggy backs in the rear..as i had bought this used at the santa fe suzuki shop as a dude was selling it on consignment with whole big box of extras that came with for 800 bucks i couldnt afford untill a week later i caught some mexican kids out back inside the chain link storage lot stealing the the mx flywheel and igniter coil along with the CDI box and ignition coil and sealed plug wire . and just mowzed on back to my pickup like i didnt see nothin' honey ...and came back the next week after talking a look at this desert hot rod and zoom into the suzuki show room to see mike brimmer owner of santa fe suzuki who i happen to know ..with hey mike what happen to the yamadog desert sled? looks to me like somebody ripped off the whole firing system and you know what that cost don't you around four hundred bucks so see if that doodle take 400 for his bike and parts and that left Suzuki with a cherry racer to get home to a burnout 1974 360 Yamaha that had finally given up the ghost after I had just bought a whole brand new MX flywheel coil CDI ignition magic box and ignition coil that perfectly interchange with all the mxers and Enduros in that time of yamaha's so I pulled everything off the blown 360 of all the ignition and my 34 mm Mikuni and put it all on this 250 hot rod I just bought four hundred bucks and first kick I had a tricked out kicker that kicked ass all that summer at all the local moto tracks except fir that damn YZ250 of the very 1st ones that were gray with an aluminum tank that was held on with velcro straps shorter wheel base of my mx and a completely different motor smaller in dimension of any mx or DT with moved up rear shocks with more suspension and this dudes wife's YZ125 looked just like it and together they destroyed the 250 and 125 classes all season long but that fall i made it back to indiana just in time for the last running of the official "Beer Can Derby" that 1st held in around 1952 as it was 1975 my 1st time running it with riders from 7 different countries around the world of every thing in the 500cc 250cc 175cc 125cc and 100cc classes all in a single row side by side of over 400 dirt bikes that took up one whole length of a 40 acre field entailed with weeds foxtail and groundhog holes as we wait with engines off and then all of a sudden you see the mushroom cloud of a stick of dynamite going off and it's on baby high water or hell Thanksgiving Day 150 MI of the Wabash River bottoms on the banks of the Wabash back home again in Indiana like a cavalry charge across the 40-acre field in the soil Bank flood zone never farmed as Riders are all charging and getting taken out like cowboys shot down charging in a war by unforeseen groundhog holes along the way as we all head for one single Deer trail to the famous "nigger ditch" drainage ditch that dumps into the wabash as there are already a pile of bikes with only handle bars visible above the water marking the deep spots of a 3foot deep hidden mud bottom 50 feet wide D&R dug out ditch for flood control as my pals brad lake factory team rider on his factory built 1ft ever proto AW400 radial head Maico and his pals of the terre haute Bultaco and Montesa shop apparently had built themselves a little dirt ramp off to the side as a pre-race preparation the week before that took careful planning to expedite what I witnessed next waiting in line for the removal of dead bikes and half-drowned River rates to get out of my way from deep in the woods you can hear braap braaaaaaap brap brap brap and there goes over head of west terre haute MAICO followed by south 7th st white's Bultaco and montessa all of which landing on the other side of Niger ditch Dualing for first overall ..im like fuck this and pin it into the ditch bounced off gas tanks seats and side cover and highly piss off riders throwing balls of black mud ive had it with brad since we were preteens on mopeds and his got a yamaha 80cc yamaha trail bike engine swap done by his old brother ..and i caught up these cheaten basterd pals of mine slamming brad in the rear tire at a check point as he was roosting my arrival flips me off and down the trail asbi get my tag punched by the checker and braaaaaP i caught up to him again and damnit if he didnt have another ace up his sleave as theres kelly and beal side by side like they are on a sunday drive through the city park strolling along on their old beat up maico and husky brad sold them years ago nbefore they both had put on the lard ass look ..and brad goes "beep beep" let me through and two hippos part ass followed by aw400 brad brap followed by me into a wall of giggle butts that goes on that seems like forever until the Cavalry catches up when all of a sudden Kelly and b e a l pull off and returned being The Spectators they were after I finally make it to the checkered flag then back to the pits there sits the Hodaka dealer Ted Sampson on the tailgate of his truck smoking his big King Edward and picking river shit mud from his Pig boots next to his 125 combat wambat with enduro tires and a lunch box rack that he rides to work at the coal mine everyday covered in black river mud ...i haven been to the score tower yet and ask ted how long hes been sitting in the pits after i rolled in " long bout 20 minuts i spoze be bout right " and thanks ted cya .....but the good news team maico breako did not win 1st over all ...but 1st place in the 175cc class and 1st over all for the day was also the 1st over all winner of the Irish Isle of Man World Hare scrambles champion riding on an OSSA 175 BTW my old pal ted sampson is a vet champion of the Jack Pine National Enduro 800 miles in three days starting in Lansing Michigan that more than once had won on a Hodaka brad went on to top 10 in the first of national Stadium SuperCross as team Rider for Maico and the author of the phrase well-known of "maico breako" why you say would he do that as he was also the usa import rep for maico of germany ? brads dad a man of deep pockets bought the import rights for all maicos bound for usa sales to keep brad from going to prison after brad ripped off the entire inventory of galaxy cycle sales in one night using a stolen 18 wheeler brad discovered his maicos put him in the top 10 brad said to me quick chucky we gotta think of something to discourage the competition of finding out just how fast these dirt rockets are and i said something like maicos to breakos and brads buddies of Effingham Illinois Kelly and Beal helped it go nation wide while brad would purposely be late pushing his latest Factory prototype like the day of his prototype aw400 that wasn't even listed yet up to the gate with sorry I'm late guys thanks for waiting on me so whose turn is it to win today oh yeah that's right it's my turn
